[Kanda hadn't gotten out of bed, at least not since he had found his way on it. The feed was on, more than likely an accidental touch as Kanda went to slam whatever was making noise on his dresser. There wasn't much on the feed, Kanda's bedroom was dark and empty. The only actual furniture was the bed and the nightstand. The sheets were pulled over Kanda up to his waist, his back was exposed. It looked terrible. Bruises, scars, and a lot of raw flesh. He didn't enjoy laying on his side so he turned slowly onto his back. He grunted.]

I guess I'm not going to work.

[From somewhere out of the feed, Allen's golden gollum Timcampy came flying over the dozing exorcist. It had grown in size, probably ate another cat again, and flopped on Kanda's stomach. It didn't give the poor guy a warning, it just landed square on his stomach. Kanda winced and gasped for air before lifting himself up on his elbows and giving the thing a stern look.]

What the hell do you think you're doing! You don't just do things like that without a warning, idiot! Who told you to come in here in the first place! You're just as annoying as that stupid- [And Kanda froze. The poor Gollem was crying. That was a lot of tears for such a little guy. He hesitated. He made it cry. Again.]

H-Hey, knock it off. Why are you crying. You need to stop doing this, Tim.

[With a shake of the head.. guess he'll have to look out for Hotaru's well being in the meantime, though.. she seems capable of taking care of herself]

[He tried to sit up but he moved too fast. He cringed falling back on the bed. Shit. You're lucky he can't move.]

[Watching Kanda's reaction prompted a rare expression from Kaname. A slight smug smile tugged at the corner of his lips.]

So threatening.. [It was understated, soft-spoken, and dripping with sarcasm]

[Then it was followed by a deep sigh]

If your not going to even dress them, I suppose I could. [Kanda was someone who possessed a lot of strength as had been witnessed during the Hades cup.. he was someone that might be useful in future]

I can hardly move my arms. I'll dress the wounds once I can manage that much.

Being stubborn? I did offer to help you.

Another thing that's bothering me. Why.

Is it really that suspicious? [A light sigh] In this place, we've all had to rely on the most unlikely of allies.

But.. if you really need a reason, let's just say that I do need to repay your for your help when I had temporarily lost my senses. [Kanda had seemed willing enough to try and help Kaname get his memories back and he had warned him of Hades.... but that was for his own query about Hotaru wasn't it? So they both offered their help with false pretenses....]

[True that. They had sort of come to an understanding. He heaved a sigh.]

Fine. Hotaru is coming to stay here for a while so you get here before she does. The last thing I need is a worried brat.

Very well. See you then.

[He seemed to have no qualms about being able to beat Hotaru to Kanda's domicile. Strangely, Kaname didn't even ask for directions before shutting off the feed. It wouldn't be long before Kanda would hear a knocking at his door..]

[Actually, that didn't hit him until he was pretty much half dressed. He opened the door and just stared.]

Get in.

[Get in? Must he always be so abrupt? This was going to be a long day if Kaname kept bringing up every socially unacceptable thing Kanda did... so he complied without complaint. He had assumed that Kanda wouldn't have the necessary potions, bandages, or antiseptics..... so he'd brought some for the task.]

[He waited for Kanda to close the door, before issuing an instruction of his own]

Stand still.

[Yeah, he knew this drill.]

You know what you're doing?

It isn't difficult.

[Granted, Kaname didn't have much use for these items himself.. as a pureblood he healed at an exceedingly fast rate but he'd been around long enough to know how to dress a wound. You never knew when something like this would come in handy.

The wounds needed to be cleaned first.]

[He'll stay still.]

There's a basin by the sink. If you need that.

[With a nod, Kaname took a moment to fetch the basin. He filled it with a combination of soap and water before returning. Gripping a clean cloth he paused before dunking in the solution.]

I suppose I needn't caution you that this might sting a bit?

[With that said he quietly set to work, making sure to remove any potential contaminates from the wounds.. it really was a wonder that Kanda hadn't completed some of these steps himself.....]

Don't bother.

[Kanda was used to healing. He had never been sick, died several times but obviously never really permanently, so he didn't really care too much for this. This time around, though, things were different. He wasn't healing very quickly.]

That's what I thought.

[For the rest of the time, he worked in silence. After cleaning the wounds, antiseptic was applied then finally the bandages. They were some particularly nasty looking wounds.]

[He grunted once the bandages were being put in place.]

I think that's good enough. [His way of saying thanks.]

[At least this way Kanda would be more presentable when Hotaru arrived. He put away the various tools and returned the basin to it's original starting point]
