[Naoto had switch on to show various pieces of paper places neatly around her desk and a pen placed beside a small pile on her right. Naoto on the other hand is as calm as anything sat at her desk, her hands clasped together as she looked like she was getting down to serious business.]

Given a talk I had with someone some days ago about different time periods, this made me curious enough to wonder at what year or which country; the place that each of you are from originally and what life was like there? [She reaches over and pulls a piece of paper to look at.]

Information like that will be useful when it comes to various things like law, since in different worlds they have different rules. I believe that this can help us come to some sort of starting point and gives us an idea of what you know and don't.[She pauses slightly, looking at another piece.]

It also helps me to figure out if there is any rules that are common. If there are, then it makes certain rules a lot easier to get across in the worlds.

[She soon pauses in the middle of something, her small smile, amused and genuine.]

I will appreciate any and all input.

Trying to find out about the worlds people come from does sound like a fun idea. Maybe you should start? Could you tell me about your world?

There... really isn't much to say about my world. It was pretty normal, crime was normal. But, compared to others it would seem rather boring.

I doubt any world would be without interests. Did it at least have a name?

It's name was the same as pretty much a couple of others named Earth. Although the times are vastly different.

Earth does seem to be a very popular name for a world. I know quite a few people who claim to have come from there.

I on the other hand come from a world called Autozam. I would say we are a pretty technologically advanced world but that has its good and bad points. As for our laws, I think they are pretty much the same as any other world, don't kill, don't steal... those kinds of rules are important to have.

So the laws of your world Autozam are pretty much the same typical laws. These are also some I wonder about in worlds such as Port Royal, where things go to the extreme.

I think Port Royal tries to have a similar set of rules it is just that there are too many pirates and not enough soldiers to keep them all in line. At least that was the impression I came away with after visiting that world.

That appears to be the case. Plus adding to the fact that pirates from this world are much more forward with things.

They aren't used to being told 'no' so they have become very bold as a result.

This might just be the case. But, it does make thinking up rules a little harder than originally planned.

That would make it a challenge... but I'm sure you can handle it.

I'm from [ 19th Century name for his homeland]. It doesn't seem like many people have heard of it. Maybe it's called something else in the future, or it becomes part of the Russian Empire, which would suck but seems likely.

Time period is [ gives the year].

Respecting your elders is pretty important.

[She nods slightly.]

That is a good point, after all it was our elders that helped to bring us on to the world and raised up, it's the least we can do for them to at least respect them.

Yeah, and they have the wisdom of experience.

They can tell us so much about the world. it's a shame that people take them for granted. [She never did with her grandfather, she respects him so very much.]

Yeah. I agree.

[ He respected his grandfather too.]

I can understand when you don't agree with them, and blindly following orders doesn't always work but you can't just dismiss them.

I don't understand at all, there isn't anything we can';t trust them on.

What about when they go against their elders?

It depends on the what they do, I suppose.

My uncles wanted to take my cousin from her current husband, a marriage Grandfather agreed to and get her married off to this wealthy clan.

A couple is not officially married until a child is born, so she still is part of our clan.

That wealthy clan, they're really not the type of people I'd want for relatives. They treat their women too roughly.

Rules and laws, huh?

[Here. Have a thief giving you a fairly skeptical sort of look, one eyebrow lifted.]

So is there some sort of guards or law here after all, then?

Well, I'm from a little place called Corona. Very nice. Sunny. Very sunny.

There is a police force run on the worlds.

[Run by Dante of all people, but she just ignores him when given the chance.]

That sounds like a very nice place, if not very sunny.

Interesting. Really good to know. There some sort of uniform to identify the, ah, officers? You know, in case I need to find one in a hurry.

[Flynn grins, waving a hand.] Oh yes. Downright lovely. Storybook-perfect. If that's your sort of thing. Not really mine.

No, there isn't a uniform per say. We wear what we are comfortable in. [She pauses for a moment on that.] We do have badges though, but not all wear them, but all do carry them around.

Then what kind of place would you have lived in, if not where you were originally from?

I see. Well. That makes things a little more complicated, but no, badges are good.

[His grin widens a bit and he shrugs his shoulders.] You know, the sort of place with a bit less hustle and bustle. A place where a man can kick back, relax, be alone with his own thoughts and his own fortunes.

You mean like Destiny Island?

That place keeps coming up. I really do need to check it out.

It seems to be the first place a lot of people travel to first.

Well, beautiful beaches. Tropical weather. Kind of hard to resist, right?

What, exactly, do you want to know? [What rules should he make you think are right to make him richer?]

Just about your world and what basic rules that came from it. [She won't automatically input the rules, she will only use ones that seem appropriate and match at least two other worlds.]

That's a very general question for twenty-first century Japan.

I'm trying to get a better understanding. People come from very different worlds and in a few cases a different time line altogether.
