[With the beach being covered in snow and the sea covered in ice, Yuiko can be seen instead just watching as right in front of her was something that could only be described as a plant with legs. Yuiko knelt down to be able to talk to it.]

Hello there.

[The moment she spoke it jumped back a little, frightened at the fact this one was trying to talk and it had never seen anyone like it before.]

Oddish! Oddish, Odd-

[Yuiko looked slightly panicked as she accidentally dropped her communicator.]

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you!

[She tries to go near, but only causes it to run riot a lot more than usual.]

I'm sorry!

[She runs back to pick up her communicator.]

Can someone tell me how to calm this thing down?

It's just frightened. Try take a step back and letting it calm down.

Poor thing, being scared isn't a nice feeling.

Being in a new place is pretty scary.

Maybe set your scarf down next to it. It might be cold and it'll catch your scent if it goes to the scarf.

[Sitting nearby on Riku's favorite tree, is Sora. Okay, his world covered in ice was kind of cool looking, but man was it cold!]

[Sora blinks when he hears the a girl's distressed cries and looks over to spot a panicked looking.. cat girl?! Well, that was new! He jumps down to help her out.]

Hey, wha- Wow! Cool!

[He smiles down at the odd looking creature.]

Please don't panic, I'm not trying to hurt you. I just want to make sure you're okay in this cold weather.

Oh! Hello there. Do you think you can help me calm it down?

[Sora looked back to the girl then down at the creature again.]

Hm... Oh! I think I do! Wait here.

[He runs back to the tree and climbs it to get a star fruit off the branch.]

Here! [The boy hops back down and goes over to the girl before gently sliding the food towards the creature's feet.]

Maybe she's just hungry.

I guess it must be, though I don't know if it had managed to get food before now.

Probably, not, everything was frozen before, so who knows how long it was looking for food.

[Sora kneels down, still giving the animal space and waiting to see if it eats.]

I think she's testing it out first. She'll like it though, everyone likes paopus.

[He says confidently. He looks over to the girl trying to remember if he's seen her before. When a name doesn't come to him he decides the best way to get to know is to introduce himself!]

So how long have you been on the Islands, Yuiko?

Well... it's been over a month since I arrived at Traverse Town, but it's been less than that since I arrived here... I think

[Sora waited patient as he thought, but she seemed really stumped so he changed the subject for her.]

That is a long time. How do you like the Islands so far, Yuiko?

I think it's very nice. It has beautiful sunsets when viewed at the right place.

Leaving it alone might be a good start.

Although it appears they are still around. After all there world must have been destroyed as well.

[Sadly, he was surprised that Yuiko had been able to come to such a logical conclusion on her own. Perhaps... his first impression of her had been inaccurate]

The heartless don't seem to care what worlds they destroy.

So, anything really can be cute? Even something like an ugly talking turnip?

It depends on the person really, while some might find one thing cute, others might not.

This cute stuff sounds kinda annoying... [Sighs. Just when she thought she was starting to get it to. :/]
