I am sure that many of you have noticed the strange effects the mysterious fog is having on everyone... I believe it best to stay inside and, if possible, away from all doors and windows. [ for what sebastian hopes are obvious reasons. ] If you happen to be in Traverse Town or by my Bakery please let me know immediately. I have created something of a safe haven in its basement and there is still plenty of room left. [ looks aside as his tone drops to that of a whisper. ] ...let's hope it leaves as swiftly as it came.

( ooc | ** ammended ** you can reply to the feed as normal, but for the action bit i'd like you to assume that sebastian, or somebody else, has let your character inside and lead them into the basement. [ as he looked at the shelf of games he came across a rather strange sounding one. sebastian plucked it off the shelf; curious. ] Dungeons and Dragons... [ he trailed off and removed the lid. it wasn't so much a game as a bunch of papers. he tilted his head and stepped back to take a seat. he read through the rules and all the other source material included in a matter of minutes. it sounded like fun. creating a character to roleplay. lol. irony. ] ...would anybody be interested in playing a game called Dungeons and Dragons?

[What is this, high school? Nevermind that Sebastian was from the Victorian Age and wouldn't be familiar with that game he has still earned a face from Chloe.]

Aren't you a little old for that? It's more something kids Ciel's age would play...

[ all that we are missing is mountain dew and cheetos. he tilts his head. ] ...so you're familiar with this game? [ and that warrants a stare. ] I don' think age has got much to do with it. If it's fun, it's fun, ... [ though it states ages 10 - 99 ...so technically sebastian is too old to play. ] ...and so am I to assume that you don't want to play?

They were either really good friends or.. something was off (Since Sebastian's reply wasn't in the same tone.. she guessed it was the latter). She was getting a glimpse of Chloe's darker side today... and she wasn't sure she liked it. Ah! But she did feel obligated to play peacemaker.]

[This game sounded just as ludicrous as some of the others but.. he was a little curious, and this one would actually employ the use of the mind. It wouldn't be enough just to have a character, but he would actually have to be creative in the way he moved said character and how he would act.

After sorting through a variety of sheets... he settled on a class. There was some irony with it.. but.. it looked like the most versatile class in the bunch.]

Do we need to think of names for the characters too...?

[Ciel's character would be a specialty priest.... since they were decent fighters, could cast dozens of spells, and received bonuses from the deity they served. Serving a deity ... how preposterous..]

[ lol. sebastian will find it amusing that ciel's gone with a priest too. ]

It seems we will have quite the party, ...should we start. Would you like to play Signore da Vinci?

[ as the time they'd taken to create their characters, sebastian had set up a place for everybody to sit at the back of the basement. he, of course, took the seat at the head of the table, and set the dungeon master's centerfold at his front. from inside the box he took a set of dice, leaving the others to share the remaining two. ]

...alright, now that you're all ready, let's begin. [ sebastian let a few more seconds pass before continuing. ] ...all of you just so happen to be in the town of Restonford. It might be because you live there, because you're passing through, or, perhaps, because you've heard of the savage Orc attacks that have been recently reported, ...

The leader of the town, an elf by the name of Tharilor, has grown incredibly concerned for the well being of his people and is calling to arms those capable. Several miles up the road and through a small pass called the Scarlet Gorge is an Orc encampment, and he wants all of you to go there and to slay all the Orcs.

[ sebastian is also taking care to translate the most important bits to leonardo, should he need it. ] So, at the center of town, here you all stand, ...what would you like to do...

Ah ha! Orcs is it? Then perhaps the first thing to do would to ask the townspeople in the square what they might know about the situation? They might be able to tell us something of their numbers or what their encampment might look like.

Assuming that anyone who had been there had also been able to return.
