❦ 006 ❦ Hermione Granger : VIDEO :: Traverse Town
Perhaps I should have listened to those warnings before I decided to ignore the lot and go outside.
[Hermione had fallen asleep somewhere in an alley in Traverse town. The poor girl had gone out on a midnight stroll with her jars. She had found her communicator, mostly to see what was going on before turning it on and slowly getting to her feet. Unfortunately for the girl, she had fallen on her jars, her right arm was a mess, pieces of shattered glass were imbedded into raw skin and she gave a light whimper. To her surprise she had found a friend!]
What a mess. I'll be going back to the bakery soon, Fai, so you really shouldn't worry.
Nonsense, you must be in a lot of pain. [The smiling blond noted, taking her arm gentle while he helped her up on her feet. Hermione shrugged, wincing ever so slightly.]
I'll manage. We shouldn't be outside. I get the feeling there's something very sini- ow!
[Fai wasn't being very nice. He had grabbed her arm and squeezed it with the glass shards still in with that same warm smile over his lips. Hermione yelped, trying to shake him off but the more she struggled the tighter his grip got. Her eyes glistened, a tear or two streaming down her cheeks before finally bring her hand up to slap him leaving a streak of crimson across his pale features. She backed off, her arm bloody and shaking while Fai merely reached up to brush away at the blood.]
What's wrong with you!
Have you ever wondered what the world would be like without you?
What?
Don't act like you don't understand. You're very clever, there's no doubts there. [Fai responded, walking towards her, making her edge back into the alley against a dead end.] But that's all there is, isn't there? Without your little gift you're useless. Unwanted. You're still here just taking up space. Useless. The world would be better off without you, wouldn't it? You're not as special as you think, so let me do you a favor.
Fai, stop-
[The next minute Fai had his hands around her neck.]

[The next minute Fai had his hands around her neck.]
[Action]
[He wouldn't never attack anyone... He just, he couldn't! ]
Yoto alu peh beitoem!
[Sae chanted her spell and waved her magic wand as she came upon the scene. Filled with a desire to help Sae's magic took on a new confidence and performed just as it was meant to.
The 'fill an object with air' spell caused the Fai-shadow to falter, loosen his grip... and then with a distinct lack of decorum fill with air until he was not unlike a large round balloon. Unable to stand he bounced harmlessly down the street until he was lost in the fog again. ]
Are you ok? I hope I got here in time?
[Action]
Not... Fai... [Yes, she was probably right. Fai wouldn't do that.]
[Action]
No, Mr. Fai wouldn't do that! It was just an illusion... from the fog, you remember the fog? Mr. Fai is too nice to do anything like that!
But, it's ok now. He is gone...
[Action]
[Action]
[You stumped her. ]
That is a good question. Um... maybe because I am trying to help you?
[Action]
Let's... let's just get out of the mist.

[Sae stands and points in the direction of the bakery. ]
Um... can you walk now?
[She didn't look too injured but... ]

Cheza!
[The Fai illusion stumbled and Hermione moved forward blasting it with her wand. It parted into the mist. She was crying and she didn't even realize it.]
Are you all right?
[ action ]
Are...you alright?
[ action ]
We should.... go home.

[And she looks around.]
I can get you some! [She moves around looking to see if any of her jars were intact. One of them was and she grabbed her sword and conjured up water.]

[She offered her the bottle.]

Do you suppose that he'll cause problems to his friends?
I heard he always use to cause problems back at home. Cursed they said he was.
[He just shook his head slightly, He had gotten over that fact, he had gotten over that belief that he was nothing, that he shouldn't be truly happy because he caused all the problems. It wasn't true. Sure he did have curses on him before, but they were broken and gone. It was over, he knew this now. Turning the corner he soon was sure he recognized someone needing help. Getting a spell ready he edged in closer only to realize the person attacking was... himself. Aiming the spell to hopefully knocked him off, he just stood there, looking at who was attacking, eye widening at the realization of who it was.]
See, this is why the boy should be locked away again, so he doesn't hurt anyone anymore.
[Taking a step back, he wasn't sure what to think or even what to do at this point in time. Seeing himself like that had made him question so many things, but all that could come out of his mouth was...]
I'm sorry, Hermione.

So, taking another step back he turned around, getting ready to depart before turning his head slightly.]
I'm sorry. I really am. Someone I'm sure will be here in a minute, so I hope they can help you where I can't.
