[ as the mist dissipated masane had found herself collapsed just outside an alley in town. ] ...riko... [ it's but a whisper tumbling from her lips as she starts to come to. her head is spinning and the world around her is but a colorful blur. had things been that bad the other night ...? she swallowed hard and made an attempt to recall what had happened as she struggled to sit upright. her arms buckled under her, however, sending her straight back to the ground. she let out a small simper as she took another second to recollect herself. ]

[ after a few moments more she sat up. she still felt ill, but the feeling had started to subside. taking a deep breath masane called, once again, for her daughter. ] Riko!

[ this. she didn't have time for this! climbing to her feet masane staggered about. she ignored the moogle chirping in her ear and telling her to sit down because of the injuries she'd sustained. that stupid thing had to be a figment of her imagination besides. man oh man... she must have really done it this time. ]

...the hell is going on here?! [ and her grip on the communicator tightened. ] I want answers! Now! [ as she braced herself on a nearby wall her head dropped. tears pricked the ends of her eyes in spite of herself. she needed to find her daughter. she needed to find rihoko. ] ... please... i... i'm looking for somebody.

( ooc | now that the mist is gone masane is now back to normal. she is still a bit disoriented from it and therefore she's confused ~~and scared~~. and to reiterate, i would appreciate nobody making a connection between her and blade. ~~at least not yet.~~ she will deny it until she's blue in the face besides. )

[Lizzie had given one of the few times she wasn't going to be staying near Ciel to walk around the town. She wasn't sure if there were new people around since she figured most of them had turned out by now. So she was just spending time to clear her head, but when she spotted someone she didn't recognize. Okay so maybe new arrivals appear all the time. So making it over she stood there.]

Hello there, is everything okay?

[ as the transmission seemed to die she loosened her grip on the communicator. how could this have happened. slumping over she choked on the tears she'd been trying to prevent, ...and then there came a sound and she looked up. ] I... no. I am looking for my daughter, Rihoko. [ she tries to wipe the tears from her eyes. this can't look good. she's already making a piss poor impression with the locals. ] ...and I'm trying to make sense of this. It... is this all real?

I, yeah, I am. It's my daughter. [ was this a common occurrence? how many other people were missing? ] I take it you are too?

[OCC: Forgive the slow I intended to tag this yesterday.]

Ms.? It looks like you should try to calm down a little and let the moogle see to those injuries of yours.

[He does not recognize the lady but he is still in Traverse Town, if he can help while he is here, then he should. ]

I... I can't... [ sets a hand to her face and shakes her head profusely. this couldn't be happening. slowly lets it drop as she looks at the communicator. ] It's, it's you. [ she didn't think she'd see him again. taken in a wave of a relief she gives a nod. ] If you wouldn't mind, yeah. [ doesn't really want to divulge any important information over this thing, and so she'll wait to do so in person. ] I'm right outside the item shop.

[OOC: Me too! Maybe they can partner up to fight something some time? ]

[It's you? He knew no one else was there but he still found himself glancing over his shoulder just to make certain of it. Surely i they had met he would have remembered? He was usually good with things like that.
But... at least she seemed to calm down a bit. Maybe he just looked like some one she knew from home? Going to help her out really was the only way to find out!]

I'll be right there. Will you sit down and allow the moogle to take care of you until I arrive? They really are only trying to be helpful.

[Without waiting on her answer Eagle starts making his way to the item shop. It was a short walk from the hotel to the center of town and over to the item shop where the lady said she would be. ]

There you are, was the moogle able to explain much to you?

[The standard 'new arrival' question to find out how much she knew of this place. ]

[ she is reluctant to agree because just what are these marshmallow peeps going to do to help. gives the creatures another look before reluctantly nodding. fine! ] Sure. I'll let the little furballs help. [ the moogles chirp happily as they're pleased that eagle had been able to convince her to accept the help. she's lead aside and one of them takes the communicator from her. ] I'll see you soon! [ she manages, flailing an arm before the transmission is cut. ]

...a bit, sure. [ but she's not convinced. ] It's not helping their case though. ...this has got to be some sort of joke! I know we talked about the Darkness and the Heartless the other night, but come on! Disney sure is grasping for straws. Is this how they treat all their guests!

I'm looking for my mother and my friends. But I believe either way they are okay. [Her mother is a picture though.]

I bet Rihoko is okay too. [ since there are plenty of people to look after her. not to mention she's capable of caring for herself. ] But I'm still worried. I... [ lighthearted laugh. ] I just can't help it. [ looks back to the feed. ] Maybe we could look together.

[Lizzie for once didn't put on her usual smile. This time she had a look of genuine concern for the poor woman.] I'm sorry to say but it is all real. But I can say you're daughter is more than likely to be fine.

[She smiled as she nodded.]

Okay, we'll look together.

[ she is silent for a few moments. as it all starts to sink in her shoulders slump. masane didn't want to believe any of it, because all she wanted to do was wake up from this terrible nightmare. ] ...think so? I just wish I knew for sure. I have been hearing things about the Darkness and the Heartless and... I worry.

[ masane is smiling too now. ] Great!

Do you know if you're in a place called Traverse Town?

[But that lady fighter was the only one he had run into the other night and she didn't look anything like... He is clearly confused but slowly the pieces are working their way into place. ]

But, Disney Castle is a world here. Is that really unusual where you come from? The talking mice were a bit of a shock but...

[Autozam, the world Eagle is from, does not have Disney. ]

It is really just a world like any other.

Yeah. I spoke to... [ she trails off and realizes that uhoh. she hadn't been herself... despite having had a clear head. rubbing the back of her neck she looks aside sheepishly. ]

I met you the other night. [ lifts her wrist up so he can see her bracelet. because she'd given him the chance to inspect the jewel he'd probably recognize it. ] I uh, I was the Witchblade.

[ but before he can say anything she's got a hand clasped over his mouth. ] But please please please! don't say a word to anybody.

[ releases him and takes a step back. lets out a breath as her shoulders sink a bit. ] Disney is a resort back home. It a theme park! with rides, games, and ...talking mice? Do you mean Micky? [ squints, looking at him skeptically. ] This is just too weird. Someone made Disney a planet. I knew they were rolling in dough, but this is a little excessive. [ sets a hand to her face and groans. ]

[That distinctive bracelet was something that could be instantly recognized. How amazing that the magic of that thing could so fully transform a person like it must have done!
All he could do was blink in shock until her hand was finally taken from his mouth.]

I see... the others would be surprised to find out about that I'm sure.

[He smiled and shook his head. ]

But, if you wish to keep it a secret I see no reason to tell anyone about it. That transformation you go through is really quite remarkable. I would never have recognized you as the same person.

[Disney = Theme park? Really?]

How strange. Disney Castle doesn't have any rides, just the castle and the town, and yes, King Mickey. Your world has something very similar but it is different enough to make it unbelievable to you? Fai, a friend that I met here, says that there are many worlds with people and objects that are familiar but act in vastly different ways. Alternate versions of the same thing.
That must be what has happened here. In this place King Mickey is a strong champion against the dark forces trying to take over other worlds.

...and that's what I am afraid of. [ surprise could be both good and bad. and she expected more of the latter. she'd rather nobody find out. at least not yet. there'd come a time... and it's not something that needed flaunting. ]

It's, uh, [ scratches her cheek and smiles sheepishly. ] something else. Drastic, right, ... [ manages a small smile. ]

aw. Really? [ and her shoulders sink a bit. she'd been looking forward to going on some rides. ] I wouldn't call Mickey a King. He's more like Disney's mascot. [ listens. man. she doesn't even know what to make of this. mickey is a fighter. ] It's got to be an alternate whatever, because this is all just too weird.

I'm there right now. I heard it's where everyone first turns up.

[Lizzie can understand the need to be sad, everyone goes through it at one point or another after all..] And it's okay to worry, it's quite a unpredictable things and the Heartless aren't the most easy things to deal with.

[Caldina had been fortunate enough that some nice gentleman had helped her out upon her arrival so~ when she saw this display she felt a little compelled to try and continue the chain.]

Now now, Missy, you need to take care of yourself first before worrying your pretty little head over anything else.

[For the most part, Caldina's own condition had improved but she wasn't 100% and that's why she wasn't making a personal appearance. She hadn't gotten how to use these devices down yet.. so... she's transmitted all of this while holding the communicator upside-down.]

Now I could be wrong, but I don't believe this Riko character has shown up around these parts. If they have.. then they sure haven't said anything over this here ... thing.

[As for what is going on..]

To make a long story short, you've arrived in Traverse Town.. a sort of crossroads between worlds. Your world.. wherever it is in peril.. but .... that doesn't mean that this Riko of yours won't show up later.

[The last week had been difficult for anyone that had been affected, but even now that the mist was gone ... a transmission like this popped up. The woman was clearly distressed and was more concerned with this Riko's wellbeing than her own. It was heartbreaking to listen to it... and Makoto wanted to do something. She transformed before turning on the communicator.

It would be better to go in this form.. in case anything unforeseen should happy, she'd be ready]

I'll answer any questions you may have.... but please stop pushing yourself and sit down.

[Jupiter was walking while talking, looking for the place that resembled the image on the screen]

[ nods as her gaze drops to the ground. riko was probably fine. she was a big girl, and she had plenty of other people to look after her. ] ...the worlds that the Darkness has swallowed, are they overrun with Heartless?
