[As the communicator clattered to the floor, the feed started. For some reason, Agni was standing inside this palatial looking Chinese building, with a mop in hand. At first he seemed not to notice that he’d lost the item as he continued to mop the floors]

Just a few more touches.. And this place will be ready.

[You could see pride in the way he smiled at the fine wooden floors, and as he went about dusting and cleaning. For a long time, Agni had been wanting to do something to help either restore the worlds or to provide shelter for new arrivals. His reason for his recent absence from the communicators could be blamed nearly solely on this project.]

Everyone has done such a fine job.

[He stopped his work in order to just take it all in. Just as he turned slightly to the left, he caught sight of the communicator]

Has, this been recording the whole time? [Surprise washed over his face as he kneeled to pick it back up] I do apologize for the inconvenience. [But.. While it was on he might as well explain]

Due to a few recent incidents I’ve decided to open an inn on The land of Dragons. [He walked along and gave a brief tour of the building]

Rates will be reasonable, and there are plenty of rooms available for those in need of lodging. The cuisine is mostly based on Chinese dishes, but we can cater to other tastes. Oh! There are hot springs just behind the inn!

[ gapes. ] Holy crap! [ oops. bites her lip and looks aside. ok... she couldn't help that. it was just a natural first reaction, because damn that place looked ritzy. ] It's gorgeous! and... and you're saying that it's going to be reasonable? [ skeptical. ] Define reasonable. [ she'd not mind getting out of that stupid inn for a bit. it was so stuffy, and it made her miss the little hole in the wall that she and riko called home. ] ...and everybody's got access to the springs, [ oh man. riko would love this! ~~she loves this!~~ ] I think I may have to book a weekend!

[The exclamation nearly startled him into dropping the communicator again but he managed to hold on to it. If the man disapproved of her colorful metaphor he didn't let on that he did. A good servant would never purposefully make a person feel uncomfortable.] Do you really think so? [His smile widened at the compliment] Yes. I understand that many of us arrive with nearly nothing, if I charged too much.. then it wouldn't be of much help at all for those arrivals. [He quotes her a price which seems ridiculously cheap.] Do you think it's.. too much? [~~And he was going to be supplementing the hotel's expenses with some of the earnings from his side job..~~] Mm, they do.[A pity that Riko wasn't here ] If you do we would be glad to have you, and would do everything in our power to make your stay enjoyable.

[ apologizes under her breath because she feels a bit bad. she didn't mean to react like that. it just sort of... happened. ] I do. It's like straight out of a magazine. y'Know, the too good to be true sort. [ now she's ever more confused. how the hell is it so cheap! ] R- Really? I get that. ...appealing to a broader crowd will get you more guests, but, uh, wow, ... [ still in shock. it takes few moments to wear off, before she's all up on this! ] I don't think you're going to have to do much! [ just look at this place. ~~and i know. my baby. if she ever comes here, i am so bringing her!~~ ]

[He can barely make out what she's said] There's no need to apologize, Miss. [He offered her a reassuring smile] Oh I assure you, this one is as real as it appears. [~~Because he's got a plan.~~ He takes her hesitation in the wrong way though.] It- it is too high? [Oh dear. Hopefully he hadn't insulted her with the quote. She was still talking like she was thinking of coming here though.. so maybe the price was fine?] It would be no trouble at all.

[ she's still embarrassed. ] ...thanks. [ moving on! let's clear the awkward. ] I can't wait to see it. [ for herself. seeing this is all well and good, but she bets it's even nicer in person. ] N- No! Not at all. I thought you'd been kidding, because, well, it's pretty low. I'd have thought it'd be a bit more expensive. Not that I'm complaining!

uh, Hey, would you, like, give a tour of the place? [ she wants to see more! ]

There is a difference between seeing it in person and seeing it over the communicator. [He agreed with her. Thank goodness, she also took the time to clear up the rental concern.] Oh good! [It probably should have been more expensive but that would have defeated the purpose. He'd make it work]

I would be honored too!

Yep! [ she smiles brightly. ] Let me know the best time for you! [ because she's not got anything else to do. and she sort of feels like she's ripping him off... even though he'd set down the prices. ] Did you... need any help with this place? I could... lend a hand. Not to mention I'm sort of looking for a job.

Whatever is convenient for you. [He reassured her] We could always use more help. What would you say you excel in? [The question was moot really, even if Masane thought she wasn't good at anything he would offer her a position. He had the strange ability to draw out abilities in others they didn't know they could have... (at least if Ciel's servants were any indication).]
