I have something I want to ask...

[She hesitates an instant. Unless some one understood the situation this might come off as a very unusual question. Things like this aren't really very common...
Still she took a deep breath and asked anyway. ]

Does anyone here know about vampires? I know a little about them. I know they have to drink blood to survive but... does anyone know anything more?

Are all vampires evil? What is it they really want?

[That was want she really wanted to know. What did Kaname want from her?]

I know it is a strange question but... could you answer it anyway?

[She bows politely for the camera.]

It depends on the story. There are some that say vampires are evil and there are others that say they try there best to not bite people. As for what they want, again it varies depending on which book you read.

Is there a way to tell the difference between evil vampires and the ones who try not to bite people?

People where I'm from do love a vampire or two, yes.

I guess it depends on motive, though an evil vampire will just bite you and try and kill you because they are the types that just don't care about the victim.

In terms of following a person, that could be for a number of reasons, because they are interested in that person is usually the top reason.

[That is true. There were a lot of movies about them. Maybe she should watch a few. ]

Then if they haven't tried to kill anyone, do you think that means they aren't an evil vampire?

Do any of the stories you have heard ever mention what about a person would make a vampire interested in them?

If they have other feeding methods as well calls towards this, yes. They wouldn't be considered evil.

From one popular book it was because of a smell the person had, it was simply something... that smell beautiful to them that they wanted it, but knew that they couldn't.

A smell? Like they... developed a crush on that person?!

I always thought vampires came from story books to scare children.

I never thought they were real either. I wonder if... in the movies garlic is a problem for them, do you think that really works?

I wouldn't know, I only know what I read in books.

I should read some of those books. If some one wanted to know more about vampires which book would be the best one to read?

I can only say look in the library, there are plenty there. but I can't say which is the better book.

[He's been bitten himself by a 'vampire' at least they thought he was at the time. It hurts like hell either way.] I don't believe vampires are evil. Just misunderstood, I guess.

That I can't say. I can only go by someone I know who was called a vampire, but they never really got to know him.

You knew some one that was a vampire? Could you... tell me what they were like?

They weren't actually a vampire, it was something else that made them bite certain people. But the logic behind it makes it seem like they were a vampire, which is where the confusion came from.

As for what they were like, they were very...isolated from the world, so when he were with him outside his home, he was very curious about things.

I guess it was a good thing he wasn't actually a vampire?

It always seems like they are isolated... I wonder if that makes them very lonely.

I believe so. But that could just be me.

Well they aren't anymore, so that's a plus.

Can't say I know the answer to this one. It's one of those things I've never met personally.

Even if you do meet one it is still a difficult question.

It's more we don't know if they do. We have different types of creatures, I wouldn't be surprised if there were vampires.

It sounds like they like to hide where you come from. Vampires must all be very secretive...
