[Appearing on the feed is a young woman in bulky armor. She has her helmet tucked under one arm while she holds the communicator with the hand not occupied by an arm cannon. It looks like she's standing outside in Traverse Town.]

I understand the vast majority of the people here are refugees. Is there some sort of alliance being formed to combat this new threat? I'd like to help.

[She pauses, looking skyward for a moment before expelling a breath and looking back at the feed.]

And if you happen to find any foreign technology out there, I'd appreciate if you got into touch with me immediately. I seem to be missing some of my equipment. ...My name is Samus Aran.

What are you missing and how exactly did you misplace them?

My suit's diagnostics tell me that I'm missing my Paralyzer pistol, grapple beam, hi-jump boosters, and speed booster.

Unfortunately, I'm not certain. My guess is that the Darkness separated them from my suit and scattered them out. It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

That's... really not good. I mean what if someone finds one of them.

Uh. M-Me. Well, kind of. I was organizing it with someone else, but I've lost contact with them since. Perhaps the Darkness...

Thankfully the amount of fighters has continued to grow recently. At first there was only a handful of us to search for answers. But now we have a considerable number; it'd be nice to organize everyone again. Especially if we could find some answers.

If you've any questions, I'm always available. I've been around a couple of months now at least.

K-Kind? Well, I believe everyone is eager to help where they can. We're all in this together.

Currently there's a tournament going on amongst the fighters. As a result a great many of us are gathered on the world known as the Olympus Coliseum. Usually we are rather spread thin since there are so many worlds here. All, unfortunately, are afflicted by beings known as Heartless, so many of the fighters try to keep them away from civilians.

I can get your wherever you'd like to go, though. Say the word; I've made friends with a few pilots by now, and would happily send one to take you where you wish to go.

Heartless... Can you tell me more of these creatures? The moogle that spoke to me was very busy and tried to help me as best he could, but... I'd like to know whatever I can regarding these beings. My suit, while intelligent in its own right, doesn't compare to the insight of a living person.

Pilots? Are there ships here?

I don't know much about them, and they come in a wide variety of forms and strengths. Some use magic, others use physical prowess, and others still use cunning. All I know for certain is that they're made of Darkness, and we're unable to completely defeat them. Our weapons have the ability to repel them, but not banish them. I've yet to see a weapon that could completely defeat them.

The ships here are called gummi ships, and they seem to have the power to repel darkness so that people can travel between worlds. There's a rumor the ships run on smiles, but-- Well, it sounds ridiculous. Still, I've seen stranger things here.

Hello. I'm Seifer Almasy, director of the police force that helps keep peace between the refugees and crimes exploited on worlds due to Heartless. We're from all across the universe, ma'am. You're going to have to be specific with what you're looking for. Do you have pictures, schematics, a good description?

As for the first part of your question, there's two entities on the worlds that exist like that. First is the IDPD, which what I described before is that in a nutshell. The king's also looking for general help (http://star-kingdom.livejournal.com/13680.html), and would appreciate any skill set.

Let me upload the data. That should be enough to go on. I plan to search these worlds for them myself, but the less I have to chase down, the better.

It's surprisingly light-weight. I've also been training to wear this suit since I was a young child.

...But I trained in the military for a few years, yes. That doesn't really have anything to do with it, however. It was my choice to train.
