[Video / Destiny Island Action]

[As his date shivered in the cool breeze drifting in off of the ocean's evening waves, Chloe gallantly removed his jacket and draped it over Makoto's shoulders. And in case that wasn't quite enough he held her from behind in a warm hug so that she could watch the waves as long as she liked. He didn't mind the cold as long as she was happy.
Dinner at one of the local beachfront restaurants and then an evening stroll along the boardwalk made for absolutely the perfect date.
That is... until a moogle walked by with a camera on. She filmed the couple together before even bothering to ask if that was ok.

This moogle... she is a shipper!

[Naoto had been scanning the network to see what was actually going on this day while she worked on trying to figure out how to even get classes at night when she came across this.]

I highly doubt by the looks of things they wanted to have this filmed.

[The moogle puts a paw to her cheek and blushes dreamily. ]

But, it's so wonderful, kupo~!

[Why is there really people or moogles as the case may be like this? Naoto will never understand.]

I'm sure it is, but this is still classes as invasion of privacy if you don't her permission.

[She must be one of Renge's fans. She read too many of the doujinshi and now she wants to ship all of the things! ^_^]

But they are standing in public, I can't be blamed for watching in that case, kupo!

Watching and filming are two very different things.

[She sighs.]

[But the disgruntled moogle turns off her camera and begins to wander off anyway. ]

Really, filming the whole thing? I though moogles were supposed to be helpful.

[She sighed, just be glad Naoto wasn't going to arrest the moogle for invasion of privacy.]

I guess some moogles have there own things to do, I doubt they work for us twenty four seven.

[The moogle would likely feel lucky for that if she knew that was what Naoto had been thinking. ]

No, but that one was just making trouble for us.

I don't really see how it caused trouble, it was just a invasion of privacy.

Having a private moment televised doesn't seem like trouble to you?

[Sure the moogle hadn't stolen or shanked anyone but still, it was totally being a troublemaker just then. ]

I guess it is a good thing it hadn't filmed something more embarrassing...

Considering my job, there are worse things the moogle could have done to cause trouble than just filming. An invasion of privacy is trouble, but high enough to be called a mild annoyance depending on what it was about.

[It certainly wasn't something Makoto planned on having filmed. It took her a considerable amount of time to catch on to that there moogle]

Wait- you aren't just filming the ocean?!

[She said to the moogle before sheepishly getting out her own communicator. With one arm behind her back she nervously tried to say something that made sense to Naoto]

You're welcome, though I never expected a moogle to be doing that.

Neither did I! You'd think they'd be handing those communicators out not shooting their own video.

I guess people here can influence them just as much as moogles can influence themselves.

[Why thank you moogle for this. ow Lizzie can't help but be rather loud about it.]

[OM--... Lizzie?! Chloe startles and looks behind him half expecting her to be standing right there. That was REALLY loud!]

[He can answer properly once he pulls his communicator out of his back pocket. ]

[Odd time for an introduction but circumstances being what they are he did kind of have to let the 'little sister' in on these things.]

[And now Lizzie is going to put on the water works.]

[Rubbing her eyes in a cute manner she soon shook her head.]

Not well enough, which I do apologize for.

[Ah, no! Not crying! You are making him feel guilty about that now!!]

Aa, well... a lot of things happened and...

[He is a fairly private person. To be honest he never really thought to tell anyone but the girl involved. ]

[She pouted for a moment.]

I can understand when things happen, i guess I should understand that more than anyone.

[Yeah, I mean it wasn't like he was flirting with, talking to, and finding out more about her for months before finally asking her out or anything. ^,^]

The circumstances of this place always seem to make things strange.

I'm just use to it by now and accept it.

We will still have to get together and have tea some time. Then you could meet her properly.

I would love to meet her over tea. Oh! It might be a call to use some tea I haven't opened yet.

[Makoto recognized Lizzie as one of Chloe's friends immediately. The two had spoken before ~~when Makoto had sort of misunderstood Lizzie and Chloe's relationship.. but Lizzie hadn't been aware of Makoto's concern and it was all straightened out immediately during the course of that convo~~ Lizzie was a nice girl.]

[Minako had been busy...being as lazy as a girl like her could when she spots this. Her reaction is to be expected.]

[Communicator handed off to Makoto with a 'your friend seems upset' sympathetic look. ]

[As Chloe handed her the communicator, Makoto cocked her head to the side and looked inquisitively down at the screen]

Minako-chan!?

[Yep, Minako is still on the device.]

Explain yourself. [She's more angry at the fact she has a boyfriend before her, unfair Makoto, unfair.]

[Eep! It really felt like she was on trial here. She replied rather sheepishly]

It's not going to be easy to explain. [It had been going on for a while now, and every time she'd tried to bring it up to the others something else had come up]

What is difficult? We met, found we had similar interests in some things, and I asked her out on a date.

[There was A LOT MORE to it than this, but Chloe is simplifying matters.

A phony prince is exactly how it sounds. A prince who isn't a true prince in the way they act. If a prince has a princess which you clearly have, then your spreading your love so easily by flirting with other girls, thus phony.

I never claimed to be a prince from the beginning, that was something you decided.

And just who is 'spreading love so easily'? Giving out a few compliments isn't love.

[Holding Makoto's hand and giving it a small gentle kiss, now that is love.]

[That forward little display, made Makoto quite speechless for a moment and brought fresh color to her cheeks]

C-Chloe.. we don't really need... [To explain anything to anyone. Then she tried to stick up for him too]

Renge-chan- it's.. well.. he might not really be a prince- but..

Love and compliments still fall under a very similar line of flirtation. Thus spreading love easily is the same as flirting with every girl you come across.

[She never said this wasn't romantic or moe...which it is, so expect something out of this later.]

[Yeah... but what? Chloe was curious now too and he looked at Makoto in a kind of 'are you going to finish that statement' way.

She had said, or at least started to say something very important then.]

It's true though, there is only one person's opinion that really matters.

[That would be Makoto's. If she could forgive his flirtatious nature she would find that was mostly just surface glitz, in reality he was a very faithful and trustworthy person. ]

Those old sayings exist for a reason.

Not all of the old sayings are true. Even this one to an extent isn't always true. But for a good portion it is.

They are true in certain circumstances but when ever you try to paint everyone with the same brush you will end up misjudging some one.
