[ There's a young boy that appears on the screen, looking very perplexed. He also appears to be quite upside down... possibly due to the fact that he's holding his communicator the wrong way. He's also mumbling something about uselessly complex Midgardian gadgets and how ironic it was that everyone thought he was going to be the one to cause Ragnarok all the while attempting to shoo off some moogles trying to be 'helpful'. His lips twist down into an adorable pout and the view is momentarily obscured as he obviously pokes the camera a few times. ]

I'm... not sure if this is on...?

[ His brow furrows as he stares at it in utter bafflement before one of the moogles finally manages to point out to him that he's holding his communicator entirely the wrong way. The screen blurs for a moment and he appears right-side up when it clears again. Thank goodness the little flying buggers seemed to be a little more technologically inclined then he was. They showed him how to turn the thing on to begin with too. Who knew how long that would have taken him otherwise. ]

Sorry, I have... a profound distaste for devices like these. These 'moogles' have been telling me what's happened, but I know that sprites and faerie like creatures are not always the most reliable source of information. So please, what is with this darkness business?

[ all you need do is name it, loki, and sebastian will make it into a sweet reality. ] But of course, and that is why it's all a matter of opinion, ...because all of us perceive things differently. [ at least you understand. but that's not going to make sebastian speak simply. he's enjoying this. making it tricky. chuckles. ] Is that not most all people then? [ if you're so small and helpless. ]

Well most people do fall into two categories. The one we're discussing and the one that includes those who insist on coddling to a ridiculous degree. I'm not sure which is worse though.

[ your turf. excuse you. i was playing here long before you, munchkin. and as long as you play your cards right he will make you anything. sebastian chuckles at that. ] I am sure you have met plenty of the latter sort. ...and I would be wary of everybody, in all honesty. [ and he's not discussing this over the communicator. ] If you'd like to discuss things in detail then I recommend stopping by the Bakery.

[ He is an EXCELLENT card player. Though he knows how to count them so... ~~and he's not always a munchkin! sob sometimes he's tall when he can hack his curse...~~]

A bakery?

[ His interest level has just risen by about three hundred percent here. ]

I think that I would very much like to discuss things with you there.

mHm. It's called Devil's Food Cakes. [ and he sends the coordinates to Loki's communicator. ] ...there, that ought to help. [ ~~hook. line. and sinker.~~ a bow of the head. ] Excellent, I will be awaiting your arrival.

Interesting name. I'll see you soon.

[ Drat now he'll have to figure out how to access the coordinates he was just sent... which he never figures out. Luckily a moogle is more then happy to give him directions and before long he's found his way to the little bakery, the bell on the door chiming to herald his arrival. ]

[ sebastian is in the kitchen decorating a cake the moment loki arrives and so as the bell tolls he can't help but sigh. at this rate he will never finish. sets the frosting tube aside and wonders if, perhaps, it's the child or another customer. after he's washed up and replaced his gloves he moves out into the front. ]

ah, It's so good to see you. [ and he bows politely. ] Had you some trouble finding the place? [ he'd not thought it'd take this long ~~munchkin.~~ ]

[ Nope, it's the kid. And he's looking just as delighted as any kid would in an amazing bakery such as this (despite not being an ACTUAL kid.) ]

Oh no, not at all. I took a scenic route, this is quite an interesting little town you know.

[ let's not get sassy now ~~in his true form he's about as tall as you, mister :|~~ ]

[ sebastian smiles. ] In any case I am glad that you arrived safely. Is it safe to say that you're impressed? [ yup. he noticed that child like delight. ] I had a kettle on and if you'd find something you like we can sit down over there... [ and he motions to a table that's already been set. ]

Well you certainly have quite the selection.

[ Hey. Everyone gets excited over something. And his vice just happens to be sweets. ]

I have had the worst craving for Tiramisu today. I trust yours is top notch?

[ of course. sebastian's got his too. ] To die for. [ a chuckle. ] Have a seat, young man, and I will bring both the dessert and tea out together. [ bows his head politely as he retreats into the kitchen. loki is free to poke around, though sebastian isn't going to be gone for all that long... and his companion, lilith, will be lurking about. she wants to keep an eye on you, ... ]

I'll be the judge of that.

[ He does give the place a cursory glance over. It would be a lie to say he wasn't a little bit curious about his host. However if there was anything incredibly interesting or suspicious it certainly wouldn't be out here in the open. Besides, he had the distinct impression that the highly unusual cat over there was giving him a dirty look. After a few moments he sighs and climbs up onto on of the chairs, his feet, of course, not even touching the ground. ]

[ of course. he's no problem letting his sweets do the talking because he's sure they'll speak volumes. and his cat is most certainly leering at you. she's none too fond of most people. it's nothing personal. she disappears amongst the shadows in the corner as sebastian returns with a platter in hand. moves to the tables' edge and sets it down as he swiftly pours loki some tea and places the dessert in front of him. offers him a fork~. ] Enjoy. [ sebastian will sit opposite him with a cup of tea, himself. ] and please let me know what you think.

[ And he'll take his time in taste testing the masterfully made sweet. He knows that with treats like this, they're best savored, despite his initieal childish reaction. After a few bites he sets his fork down and takes a sip of tea. ]

It's delicious! Almost as good as Yamino's.

[ smile ]

[ almost. almost. almost isn't good enough. he forces a small smile nonetheless. he'll have to try harder next time. ] I am glad you've enjoyed it. ...that's merely but a sample of what is here [ lifts his cup and gazes thoughtfully into the liquid before taking a sip. ] and what I am capable of preparing.

[ Oh don't worry! Practice makes perfect after all. He has faith that you will only continue to improve with time. ]

I've no doubt there are probably quite a few things you can skillfully prepare.

[ He has a bit of an inkling that these things are not necessarily limited to just food either. ]
