[Fai looks rather happy and for once he wasn't working or anywhere near the cafe. Instead he was in Halloween Town and his outfit while there could be considered a mixture of a cat and a vampire. A scary vampire cat. He watches as the residents were still in the preparations for Halloween.]

It must be that time of month again. Ah it only seemed like a few months ago that ghost had wandered about the worlds, causing havoc and mayhem.

[He smiled, leaning back in his place of sitting as he pulled out a rather disgusting little apple, pulling out the worm within.]

I wonder what the residents here are planning to make a big fright. I'm honestly kind of curious to know, but they won't tell me anything. Instead they keep saying that it's a ~*surprise*~. [He threw the apple behind him as he held the wriggling worm on his hand as if he was waiting for something to appear. After a minute a bird flew down and grabbed it before flying off again as his pet cat Snowflake went and jumped on his lap. The cute little thing looks like a kitty!mummy.]

What's this about ghosts now deary?

[A tilt of his head.] And please, do explain what you mean by a big fright? Why would anyone want to make one of those in particular?

It was a year ago when ghosts went about the worlds and basically caused trouble to anyone who wasn't wearing a costume. I don't think I remember how they managed to get out. Maybe they did what everyone does and got on the Gummi Ships.

[She smiled.]

It seems the residents are known for frightening people. It's kind of their thing so to speak.

I see! How mischievous really.

[A brief little laugh before he shakes his head.]

Well. It does sound interesting if nothing else. So long as it's relatively harmless.

I think they just enjoy scaring people more than anything. It's apparently the holiday for it after all.

I see. What a strange holiday. What's it called then?

It's called Halloween. Pretty much the same name as the world itself.

Aaah, well, that does explain some of that odd little place I suppose.

How fascinating, really. I'll have to explore a bit to understand it better.

Was there this sort of celebration where you are from?

[He shakes his head.]

Not really, we didn't really celebrate many holidays.

Nor do we -- well, there are some things we do celebrate, of course. The harvest festivals in many villages, the greeting of the spring.

I can understand celebrating, I'm sure people from across many worlds celebrate victories. Mostly with drink I assume.

Ghosts...?

How do I put it... Basically if you can see through them and they're white, then you are looking at a ghost. They enjoy spooking people as well and people say they enjoy saying boo, but I have yet to see that.

Why do they do that...?

That I don't know, maybe I should ask them.

I have gone to that world, is their Halloween the same as what everyone has been talking about?

Well Halloween Town puts more emphasis on the scaring part.

I assume that is what they mean with 'trick' or treat.
