oo5 ❀ tale as old as time | video

( for once, Belle isn’t cleaning so much as she is poking around in things that she probably shouldn’t be touching at while Rumplestiltskin isn’t in his room to keep her from his things. it isn’t all that often that she ventures into his room (save for cleaning it) so it’s safe to say her curiosity has likely gotten the best of her; and at the moment, she’s not aware she’s being recorded by her little trinket that was likely left behind in here when she was cleaning up )

Just what are you up to lately, hm…? ( she’s walking her fingers along the various oblong shaped bottles that hold a variety of potions within their confinements, tilting her head at some, narrowing her eyes to others to better see the contents — but never does she pick one up ) I wonder what this—

( her subconscious gets the better of her, though and imagining a noise (or possibly truly hearing one) Belle jerks to stand upright again. veering her body rather quickly to look at the door, she’s startled to see that no one is there but even moreso at the noise of shattering glass — she’d knocked a vial over )

Oh no!

( she’s about to kneel and grab the pieces when from the ground where the bottle shattered, a vast, thick purple colored fog erupts and covers the whole of the room, causing the device to lose Belle’s form as she’s engulfed by it. although it can’t be seen anymore, Belle stumbles through the ‘cloud’ to the window in the hopes that opening it will cause the mess to disperse but it fails and soon she’s coughing from the thick smoke-like substance )

Rumple—! ( alas, he’s not home after all, so crying out to him won’t work! ) —help me!

( the coughing continues, as do the calls for help, but otherwise the purple vastness is all that remains to be seen on the camera )

( choking on the purple haze drifting through the room, Belle heard the voice on her device and trying to locate it, she began to walk toward it only to stumble into something in the room — a chair perhaps — which led her to collapsing to her knees with a grunt )

Ah! ( wincing, she shook her head and chose to crawl instead ) Winry? ( she thought she'd recognized her voice, proceeding with her movements she felt a sharp breath inhale in a gasp as her hands sliced from the broken glass scattered on the floor. wincing, she jerked them back )

Winry, be careful! I don't know what this is doing!

( again, she choked and coughed )

( it was a voice she didn't recognize, but Belle wasn't one to turn down help, especially in such a situation where she really needed aid. she had stumbled about and lost track of her footing, somehow in the mess of trying to get out of the room she'd managed to tear up her hands on the glass on the floor and mumbling to herself in pain, she looked toward the direction the voice was coming from.

surely it was coming the device though and wherever she had left it in the room didn't necessarily mean it was near the door. she could just end up crawling further into the room for all she knew )

I can't see, I'm sorry— I don't know where my device is...

( choking on the thick smog, she winced at the sound of the girl's voice. at least someone had heard her and while she couldn't make out the voice as someone she knew, the help was appreciated nonetheless )

Please, be careful! I don't know the full extent of this smoke's power, be it harmless or not! ( while the help was needed, she didn't want someone else to get hurt because of her stupid clumsiness. moogles might help though! she nodded, not that the other girl could see )

( purple was all that could be seen on the video feed still, despite not being able to find her device let alone see Lizzie on it, she recognized the girl's voice easily and choking on the vapor, Belle stumbled through Rumplestiltskin's room )

Elizabeth! Be careful, I don't know if this is harmful or not!

( Musa, what a relief! someone had heard her! )

T, Traverse Town— ( she choked on the pollution filling the room ) —in Rumplestiltskin's shop!

~~ok. fine. a little bit of death!~~ ]

[ and sebastian is not going to argue that. as he enters the room the toxic cloud has grown even thicker than it had been but a few moments before. he falls into a crouch and moves slowly into the room as he brings a handkerchief to his lips. ] Belle. [ ...he finds no sign of her as he looks around and he feels his heart start to sink. had something happened, but, thankfully, she calls out to him. he follows the sound until he all but bumps into her, ...his hand coming to rest on her shoulder as he draws her against his person. passes the handkerchief to her as he quietly instructs her to cover her mouth. ] Let's get out of here, shall we, ...?

she's still clambering about haphazardly through the potionsmaster's room, however Belle has taken to trying to hold her breath while she waves a hand before herself in search of a wall to follow toward the door. it doesn't last, however and she gasps a breath as a palm finds her shoulder, fortunate for her this is soon followed by a cloth being placed over her mouth and relief swells through her chest.

Belle nods against his palm. )

Please...

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure I'd want to know.

[he is a little curious, but it was a little too soon to risk it. he smiles back, finishing up.]

Maybe we can find a way to trap the smoke into something.

[Winry knew if there were any injuries, she would at least have someone come to her clinic where she could look them over at least, but for now she knew to had to make her way as best as she could.]

I'll do my best, I even bring masks so to not breath in the... whatever it is.

[She had to pause for a moment, that meant that the smoke was a lot thicker than she first anticipated, which means what she does next would have to change, especially if there might be dangerous hazards and in the worst case possibly hazard of the place being set alight. That was something she couldn't let happen in the least.]

Very well, the best thing to do is to stay as low to the ground as possible and feel the way to the door, if you feel an object that isn't the door, try and feel around it.

[Right moogles. Tohru started to flail slightly, trying to in a panic to figure out where to fetch some, forgetting she had been to a place when she arrived before where they worked. She wasn't in the best of minds right now.]

Moogles....Where do they live. Maybe in some kind of tiny house. [She paused, walking ever so quickly, still no idea of where they were, that was of course until she fell over one in her dreamy like state.]

I'm so sorry... Oh! Moogle-san, I need you're help. [At least she found one and she was starting to sound happier for it.]

Don't worry, I will send the moogle-san to help.

I'll try my best to be as careful as I can.

[It didn't take her long to get there and attempt to make her way into the room, dear god it looks worse in person. Elizabeth started to cough by the door as she put her device away.]

I'm here.

[She nodded as she transformed into her Believeix outfit. Once she had done that she transported straight into the shop.]

Right, lets's try and deal with this mess. I hope magic can help anyway.

[ and he is so relieved to have found her. she seems alright... but that is still yet to be determined. who knows what sort of ill effects this concoction may or may not have had on her. pulls her against him as he scoops her up bridal style to make a swift exit out the door. holds his breath as he brings her out onto the streets just outside the shop. setting her down he drops to his knee to cough. shudders, giving a look at the building. ] Belle, are you feeling alright, ...you aren't hurt, are you? [ the blood. ]

Mm. ( that brings a frown to her face, Rumplestiltskin does have a vast array of potions that could have ended badly, of that she's certain ) It... could have been worse, that's all that needs be said.

( Belle really hates to think of Rumple as a bad person, after all )

That's a clever idea... ( glancing over her shoulder toward his room, she tilts her head in thought ) I wonder if it could be rebottled somehow?

( briefly, her arms are wrapped around his shoulders as he carries her and once settled to the floor in the street with cleaner air again, she breathes a heavy breath of fresher air. frowning, she kneels down next to him and is about to extend a hand to touch his shoulder, but stops herself.

the blood. her hands — they'll heal, she tells herself but frowns )

No, I'm alright. ( she winces just slightly as she presses her hands to her knees to keep them hidden. she'd tend to them herself later ) Sebastian, what of you? Are you okay?

Th, that's an excellent idea—!

( anything else she might have said is lost to coughing, pressing her now bloodied palms to her mouth in an attempt to keep anymore smoke from entering her lungs, she falls silent to wait. there's nothing more she can do, after all )

Y, yes— ( at least, that had been what she was trying to do when she'd come into contact with the broken vial. still, the person made a point and Belle didn't want to remain in the haze any longer than she needed — who on earth knew what the potion was doing to her, after all? she really hoped that it's purpose was to just be a smoke screen with no other purpose to it

while she waited for the other to assist, she took it upon herself to try and locate the door again. patting her injured hands against the floor once more, Belle felt around, wincing as she did, to try and locate the door )

( while the other girl set off to look for Moogles to help, she began to crawl along the floor, touching her hands to feel around and use them as her eyes since she could see little to nothing even mere feet in front of herself )

Ngh— Rumple— ( Belle whimpered his name, not that the man was anywhere near her to hear her pleas. she took in a sudden sharp breath as her hands tore up on the shattered vial, wincing, she pressed onward though. the sooner she was out of the room, the better!

raising her brows, she heard the girl once more and relief washed over her, even in the smallest of fractions of it ) A moogle! Oh, thank goodness, miss!

( in the meantime, Belle had attempted to find the wall, only to hit into some furniture in his room and fall to her knees. she'd placed her hands to the floor to catch herself and cried out when jagged chunks of glass shredded her skin. ignoring it, Belle hoisted herself back to her feet again and stumbling through the cloud, found a wall.

good! now all that was left to do was somehow follow it to the door without hitting into other objects in her way )

Elizabeth! ( she recognized the lady's voice and instinctively moved toward it, moving a bit slowly to try and keep better on her feet should she bump into something again ) Be careful if you come in here, there is glass all over the floor...!

( Belle wasn't about to just sit around and wait despite her pleas for help, she cautiously took some steps around the room to try and get toward the nearest wall or with even better luck, the door. true to the clumsy form, however, she tripped and toppled down with a grunt followed shortly by a cry of pain as she felt glass shards tear and get stuck in her hands

she jerked her head up, though, hearing Musa speak outside the door.

Beware! ( she had to give her the warning, Rumplestiltskin had said it to her so many times before and it was driven into her mind so much that she assumed it to be true of all magic— ) —all magic comes with a price!

Yeah. It's just good that it wasn't.

[He smiles, dropping the subject.]

Maybe if we ran around with the bottle, it would go back in! Or...if we could condense it first, somehow...

[ a small sigh of relief passes as she confirms that she's, in fact, alright. if only he could believe her. there's still the matter of the blood... and now that they've escaped the haze ridden confines of rumpelstiltskin's room he can smell it all the more clearly. ] I am alright, Belle, ...I'm far more worried about you. [ what aren't you telling him and, more importantly, why? ]

[Winry donned her mask as she reached the place, trying at the moment to make her way in, another mask in hand. She wasn't sure if she should just let herself in, but given the matter it was probably the better idea that she barge in. people would during a fire or that type of thing after all.]

Belle! I'm here.

[Naoto after many a worried moment, making these Gummi ships harder to pilot and just fly in general she finally had arrived in Traverse Town. Well it was bumpy but it did the job. So now all that was left was to get to the shop in questions and kick in the door. She'll make sure to pay for a new one later, but now it was important to get the person out.]
