( for once, Belle isn’t cleaning so much as she is poking around in things that she probably shouldn’t be touching at while Rumplestiltskin isn’t in his room to keep her from his things. it isn’t all that often that she ventures into his room (save for cleaning it) so it’s safe to say her curiosity has likely gotten the best of her; and at the moment, she’s not aware she’s being recorded by her little trinket that was likely left behind in here when she was cleaning up )

Just what are you up to lately, hm…? ( she’s walking her fingers along the various oblong shaped bottles that hold a variety of potions within their confinements, tilting her head at some, narrowing her eyes to others to better see the contents — but never does she pick one up ) I wonder what this—

( her subconscious gets the better of her, though and imagining a noise (or possibly truly hearing one) Belle jerks to stand upright again. veering her body rather quickly to look at the door, she’s startled to see that no one is there but even moreso at the noise of shattering glass — she’d knocked a vial over )

Oh no!

( she’s about to kneel and grab the pieces when from the ground where the bottle shattered, a vast, thick purple colored fog erupts and covers the whole of the room, causing the device to lose Belle’s form as she’s engulfed by it. although it can’t be seen anymore, Belle stumbles through the ‘cloud’ to the window in the hopes that opening it will cause the mess to disperse but it fails and soon she’s coughing from the thick smoke-like substance )

Rumple—! ( alas, he’s not home after all, so crying out to him won’t work! ) —help me!

( the coughing continues, as do the calls for help, but otherwise the purple vastness is all that remains to be seen on the camera )

Belle--!

Don't breathe. I'll be there in a minute!

[Having no idea what that smog could be, he heads for the shop as fast as he can. Stupid lack of teleportation spheres.]

—Tidus!?

( she recognized that voice! thank goodness for the recorder! but, don't breathe, he says! good grief!

her hands are covering her mouth to keep whatever she's released from entering her lungs although she does continue to cough and hack — not breathing isn't an option of course and thus far the fog isn't really harming her so much as it is keeping her trapped in the room )

Be careful!

[casting haste on himself, he runs the rest of the way there. from looking at the windows, he can see which room is currently filled with smoke. he rushes in and heads for Rumplestiltskin's room, jumping into the smoke. It takes some effort not to breathe in the substance when he shouts.]

Belle?!

[ as the feed came to life sebastain knew that no good would come of it. not even he would consider poking around in his friends things. ]

Belle. [ as the glass tumbled to the ground he called out to her ( like it'd do any good ) but his words became undermined by the shattering of the glass. a thick purple haze filled the screen and he muttered uselessly under his breath. ] Belle hang on!

[ and he pockets the communicator and heads for rumpelstiltskin's shop. damnit. leaping onto the roof of his building sebastian hurries toward it, avoiding the streets and their traffic. he's not much time... who knew what that vile had contained... ]

( by now, she's let herself fall to her knees in the purple haze, continuing to choke on the smoke as she wretches cough after cough. she's already attempted to crawl out of the room only to realize she just can't find the door in the mess of fog and already injuring her hand by touching the broken glass on the floor in her attempts, she's decided to remain stationary for Tidus to find her instead

hearing his voice, she looks up (as though that would even help to see him) at the sound of him ) Tidus—! ( her voice is strained )

Be careful, there's glass!

( let's just agree that like a cat, curiosity is bound to kill her and leave it at that, shall we?

she heard the cry of her name all too late and with the fog now surrounding her, she's utterly stuck in the room with it being unable to find the door with such low visibility

what a miserable situation to find herself in ) Sebastian—? ( that was the butler's voice she had heard, wasn't it? suddenly she's all the more embarrassed and beings to hopelessly search for the exit, letting a cry pass her lips as a palm is split opened at the glass on the floor. were she not a lady, she would have cursed from it )

Rumpelstiltskin! ( she could still beg his name for help, who knew after all, he might get home before the other man arrived to help her, although it was not likely )

[he can't see, but her coughing makes it easier to navigate. he walks around, trying not to bump into anything--especially any other potions. he almost trips over Belle, but he stops when he hears glass crunching underneath his shoes.]

Here, take my hand.

( she cringes as he steps on the glass but is relieved that it's only his foot — which is clearly protected by his shoes. hurriedly, she reaches her hands up in the air, scrambling to find his so that she can hoist herself up onto her feet and finally be free of the damned room

frowning as she coughs, Belle mumbles an apology to him ) I'm s, sorry you had to come out here

[ ...let us then hope that, like the cat, satisfaction will bring her back. ~~but idioms aside there will be absolutely no dying, belle! not as long as sebastian's still around.~~ ]

Belle! [ sebastian all but skids to a stop atop the neighboring roof to shout... but it's hopeless. a frown forms on his face as he scans the building for the room that she's become trapped in. about to move round to the other side of the building he catches the sweet smell of blood. ] Belle! [ possibilities as to the reason for the blood race through his mind as he swiftly pinpoints her location. hurries into the building and burst open through the door as immediately he doubles over, narrowing his eyes to try and see through the purple haze. ] Belle, are you alright, ...please, ..._{answer me.} [ worried sebastian is worried. ]

[he starts to pull her along and heads for where he thinks the door is, keeping his other arm outstretched.]

Don't be. Be careful where you walk.

[that's the wall. he traces his hand along the surface. as soon as he comes to a gap, he runs forward with Belle.]

( she's not on her ninth life just yet. ~~aw come on, Sebastian, not even a little death?~~

the window remains opened, so she can hear his cry but fails to respond to it and as it happens, she can't even locate it anymore with how thick the fog has become and all from such a tiny vial too. Rumple's potions are certainly extremely potent it seems! soon, the only thing coming from her lips are the sounds of coughs, that is until she hears Sebastian's pleading tone and despite the hazy smoke (and the glass covered floor) she begins to crawl toward the sound of it slowly )

Sebastian—?

( cautiously moving with him, she keeps her hands clasped to his in order to keep from being lost in the fog again. she stumbles out into the hall with him once he locates the door and wheezes, thankful for the fresher air here in the main area of the shop

she coughs a moment longer before regaining her composure and catching her breath )

Th, thank goodness you were around. ( looking to her palms she frowns and hopes she hasn't gotten her blood on him. a soft sigh passes her lips ) To go just once without dropping something would be so wonderful...

[he exhales and breathes again once they're out. it couldn't hurt to open some windows. he moves to do that, when he glances at her palms.]

You're bleeding.

[because he likes to state the obvious.]

Hold on, I'll get some towels...where are they? Do you have any bandages?

I cut them on the glass when I tried to get out.

( with a defeated sigh, she nods toward the bathroom )

There are extra linens in the closet in there. There may be some bandages in there as well.

[he wonders what she was doing there to begin with, but decides not to ask right now. he heads to the bathroom closet, returning with some linens and bandages. he takes one of the wet linens first for her hands.]

Can I see them?

( defeated, she offers her hands to Tidus when he asks and winces preemptively for the touch of wet cloth to meet with her fresh injuries )

I feel like such a bother. Thank you, though. I'm... Not sure how long that potion lasts. ( with any luck it'll be gone before Rumple gets home )

[this will probably sting, so he starts talking to distract her while he cleans her injuries.]

You're welcome. You're not a bother. It could have happened to anyone. Who was interested in what's in some mysterious bottles that weren't theirs and accidentally knocked one over. But that could happen to a lot of people.

[he spares a quick glance over his shoulder.]

Hopefully not long. That stuff, whatever it is, can't be good.

( she cringes, both in a twitch of pain and at his words. oops. ah, so her curiosity got the better of her, it was bound to happen and loads of other people were just as curious about other dangerous things... right? )

I was just... deciding how to proceed with cleaning in his room next is all.

( she blushes rather sheepishly )

H, Hopefully not. If he comes home to see it... ( that'll be a fine mess indeed )

I never doubted you weren't.

[he glances up from his work, smirking faintly. if it had been him, he would have done the same. he begins to wrap the bandages around her hands.]

He wouldn't be very happy. But it's just a stupid potion.

[Well that wasn't good at all. It looks weird and... purple. Things like that can't be good, right?]

Please if you can try and find your way to the door and just get out of the room. I'll hopefully be there as soon as I can.

[Naoto was quietly walking from her place of residence. It would take her a while, but she was still being calm given the situation.]

Miss, if you can hear me, I'm going to try and help you out of that smoke, so firstly please keep calm and follow the sound of my voice.

[Tohru had been nearby for once, but god knows if she knew what to do. She stood in the middle of Traverse Town, trying to think of what they were always taught about fire safety in school, but when it comes to the real thing....sort of, her mind was a complete blank.]

Miss, uh....I don't actually remember what to do, but I promise that I will do my best to help. I'll get some moogles! That might work.

[Lizeie looked on at the device, her friend was in trouble and she believed she was close by. So with her Vulpix, Isabelle by her side she started to make her way towards the direction she believed the place was.]

Don't worry Belle, I'm coming to help you.

[Musa is sat in her room on Destiny Island as she just watches on for a moment. She knew of a way a quicker way but she had to know something first.]

Care to tell me which world you're on. Or more so where you are exactly so I can come and get you out of there?

( she gives a soft smile, still a bit embarrassed but at least she doesn't feel like he's chastising her for her actions. that's a bonus! )

Well, I suppose so. That could have been worse, I don't know what kinds of potions he has in there after all.

( but given his title as 'the Dark One' she can only imagine the types of things that could have happened. watching him wrap her hands, she gives him an appreciative smile )

I'll work out how to clean it up soon.
