[The disconcerting sound of metal clanking and gears grinding adds another level of percussion to the transmission]

INITIATE IGNITION SEQUENCE……

[Before the process can proceed further, the voices begin sounding more excitable, an alarm is sounded]

Heat is increasing rapidly! System will overheat in twenty seconds! Abort, Abort!

ALL SYSTEMS SHUT DOWN! [The din reaches fever pitch, with the alarm near deafening before…….. Nothing. Everything falls into total silence]

[Finally, Washu speaks and gives her helpers some applause]

Well done, not bad for out first test~ [The communicator gets picked up, after a blur of dark objects it rests on Washu’s face] Has this thing been on the entire time~? [She asks but it seems to lack sincerity]

I thought you’d all like a peek at my latest creations~

[Swinging the comm around, the populace now sees not only one Washu… but DOZENS of Washus]

Clones? No- nothing as messy as that. [Although dabbling in dna and genetic research wasn't beyond the scope of possibility]

It's quite simple really. These robotic replicas will be my new assistants in my lab. Whenever I need a button pushed, or a lever thrown then my darlings~ will take care of it~.
