[Naoto sat there, her mind focused on whatever was sitting in front of her. her pen tapping lightly against the desk. The various pieces of paper scattered around the place as a moogle was busy cleaning up and making sure everything was in order. After a while Naoto finally looks up and over, a small smile placed upon her feathers, hiding a slight concern she might have about the current situation.]

Ah, thank you Watson. You may continue filing all the paper work the Chief signed a few days ago. [Placing her pen down she stretched slightly, choosing this moment to take a break from the concentration or simply too much thought. The moogle Watson on the other hand choose to take the papers on over to the tiny moogles desk as it started to file, making sure it goes in the right place.]

It has come to my attention that a set number of people have gone missing. [She puts a hand to her hat, adjusting it slightly on her head.] Since it's been over twenty four hours it classify's them as missing. [She stood up, in her head she still didn't understand what exactly was going on, but investigating that place again was the best bet.] So I propose that I will go to the last place they were and throw a formal investigation myself. [She looks at the communicator, when it comes to the police, she is very serious business and is crazy enough to do this.] I don't expect anyone to come, but if you are willing enough and not afraid of what could be around, then it will be of help. Hopefully that way it would make the investigation easier. [Tilting her hat down she looks over to the moogle.] Watson, prepare a Gummi Ship. I plan on hopefully going within the next hour or so. I just need to do a few other things first.

[With that she reaches over to pick up her communicator as it switches off.]

They aren't really missing. We know exactly where they are.

[They were in that castle behind that magical barrier. Chloe had been following the progress of this mission as best he could through others open transmissions about it so he knew that group had been either captured or maybe even killed by this point while trying to raid that castle. ]

What good would going there do? Unless you have some way to get into the castle and an army to back you up, you would only risk becoming a casualty yourself.

Technically as of now we have no current whereabouts. It's true that they went to the castle, but it is unknown if they are actually there or if they've been moved without our knowledge. For all we know it could be a trap. [She doesn't put anything to chance at the very least, the barrier could be a trap in itself. it's why she's being the test subject.] I need to think of this from every possible angle I can think of.

I have an idea, but it requires stealth more than sheer force and besides it's more investigating than actually forcing our way in, so a large number would be useless and rather uncontrollable. All I need to know is what type of magical barrier it is, maybe that way we'll see if there is a counter spell. [She plans that she would come out somewhat unmarked, but she believes it will go somewhat as planned, if they find out the type of barrier then it would make a break that much easier.]

The whole mission was clearly a trap. I haven't heard all of the details about it but those who have returned have spoken of riddles and barricades. That Maleficent has had a long time to fortify that castle, it was pretty foolish just to rush in there.

[Ever helpful, tearing down another's plan but he did it from concern. Chloe didn't want to see these people die anymore than anyone else did.
A stealth mission was more Chloe's thing than a full on assault anyway... but she lost him again while mentioning the magical angle.]

What kind of magical barrier? How would you be able to tell that?

[And what did it mean? Magic was something far above his abilities. He was just an ordinary human being with no magical talent at all.]

It was foolish even I would admit to rush in. This woman is very smart, possibly more than people give her credit for. [Naoto at least admits this.] That is something I know nothing about. I know magic exist but not what to an extent. The only thing I can tell is it's more than likely not something I would know about.

Wait, you are talking about going alone to see about the magic barrier, find out what type of magic it is, and counter the spell... but you know nothing about magic?

How is that going to help exactly?

Simple, odds are it is a magic I don't know about, my guess is it might be one that's common around here. So what else do you suppose one might do. Take some magic books from these worlds and check them out. I'm certain there could be something within the pages of at least one of these books.

Wouldn't it be better to find some one who knew more about magic and escort them there? Or are the people who are missing the only magic users?

I thought there was that wizard, Merlin? Is he still around?

[She pauses for a moment.]

I thought Merlin was just a fairy tale. Like the legend of King Arthur. So I can't say I know if they are around.

[Agni hadn't seen any new transmissions since before the groups had gone off to storm the castle which was quite worrisome. That being said, not many people resided on his world and he wouldn't have noticed their absence, so it prompted the following question]

Excuse me, but who is it that has gone missing?

[If nothing else, then he could at least keep an eye out for them]

[Naoto pulled up a list and looked at it.]

The names I have written down or that have been reported or mentioned are: Leon, Kairi, Ventus, Kanda Yu. There are meant to be three others, one of which did make a announcement before they left, but her name was not mentioned.

[There were some familiar names on that list. Kairi was such a sweet girl it was hard to imagine anything negative befalling her. Those first three were people he'd considered friends at one point or another ~~despite the infrequency of their convos and the fact that one of them wasn't even the same person he had befriended in the past (Complicated timeline is complicated)~~ so the news was quite shocking.]

[He wasn't even sure what to say]

No one else involved in this plan knows who those three were?

I have yet to hear any mention of a name, but I'm sure they'l be figured out soon.

When they are, please let me know.

I hope that everyone will return safely.

I'm hoping so too, but I have to check to be certain.

[She could barely contain her elation at the prospect even though she had also wished for Maleficent's destruction. Ah, this way it was a win-win scenario for her]

Those missing persons were completely useless.

I wouldn't seemed useless until we know for certain what exactly is going on. hey are trapped, but we have no idea what is going on behind closed doors.
