[ and she looks aside a moment. ] I know it's late, but, uh, ...I was thinking... maybe we could, y'know, ...hang out. [ read; i'm scared and i don't want to be alone anymore. this house makes strange noises at night! ] I just... I could really use some company.

[ Nero hadn't been sleeping when he reached over to answer his communicator. He was kind of a night owl himself, and was planning on reading into the wee hours of the morning. ]

Hang out?

[ He frowned, about ready to just say no, he was awfully comfortable all curled up with his book, it was a GOOD one too. But there's something in her voice that just makes him slump his shoulders in defeat. ]

Do I have to get dressed?

[ He's in his pajama pants, they're cozy, okay? ]

[Mokuba sat up when he heard the message chime in. He sleepily rubbed his eyes and tried to get everything into focus before he picked up the device.]

who is this?.... Masane? [What are you doing up?]

[He mumbled a little bit] now? [It was hard for the kid to engage in a conversation right now but when Masane added the last portion of the message he just couldn't put the communicator down.]

Did something happen? [Casting his eyes to the side he added] Hold on a second.. [Carefully getting out of bed, he slipped out of the room and gently closed the door. He didn't want to wake anyone else up] Are you okay Masane?
