007 ❥☾ [Action & Video] (backdated to right after the tournament)

[Lilisette's communicator is propped up beside where she's been working to heal people. She's still standing after her fight with Hades, but she's exhausted and she can't keep up her healing for much longer. Considering she's still torn up and bloodied herself, she's lucky to have lasted so long.

Just as she turns to the camera to call for white mages (not yet realizing Cecil's essentially doing the same later), something to the side catches her eye. It's Seifer, and her exhaustion twists into anger. Her anger causes her to forget her quest, and she stands in a huff.

Thankfully the camera is angled just enough to catch her as she jumps into the air, flying feet-first at the man.]

Seifer! You stupid, insolent, unthinking KING OF DOLTS!

[Yes, she is going to dropkick him. Straight to the ground. She hasn't channeled enough of her aggression yet, and after what he did to Zell... She's more than a little pissed.]

[It was a bad idea in and of itself. Seifer Almasy isn't the person before her. Being trapped and forced to watch the fruits of his deal denied forced out the darker side of him. Sir Seifer, Kinght of Ultimecia. He's still unable to cast spells, but his status junctions are still there.

He readies Hyperion as she falls and jumps to meet her, much quicker than usual. As the distance closes, he brings the blade up in a deadly arc, finger on its trigger.]

So it's true, then? You're still working to get your friends killed?

[The gunblade's ammunition is to cause an explosive vibration within the blade. He barely flinches with the punch, and actually laughs, high and cold. Lightning quick, the blade of Hyperion moves to her throat. It's not visible from the camera, but his eyes have taken on an amber quality. The pupils are shaped like an hourglass.]

Your physickal skill will take ages before it's klose to Zell's. Now move, little girl, before I do hurt you.

Go on and try.

[Seifer rolls as he hits the floor, reducing the pain and disorientation the trip would have caused. As quick as he was down, he's back up with a vicious snarl issuing from his lips. Seifer just wants to see Zell. However, the part of him Hades forced from dormancy is frustrated that its anger went unspent. Right now, he wouldn't hesitate killing her if she persisted. To deter her, he brings a hand up a fires off a quick ball of fire. Nothing that would cause lasting harm. Just enough to stun her for a few moments if it hit.]

Stop, now! I want to see him. You stand in my way, I'll stop being so nice.

Stop being nice if you choose. But you couldn't even fight Hades. What makes you think you can handle me?

[That gleans a smirk from him.] Little Lilisette. I was weak when it happened. But Hades woke things up in me. I am...stronger now, and he fled when he felt that power wake up. Kan you be so sure that you will sukseed?

I'm pretty certain he fled after I fought him and sunk a dagger into his heart.

I've no doubt I'll succeed.

[Seifer didn't see the fight, so this is news to him. He shakes his head and looks at the prone fighter in the arena.] So many have said that, and so few have aktually done it.

[Beneath the veneer of calm, the dominant side of Seifer tries to tak control again. However, the power of the Knight is still strong, unsated by the near-fight against Hades. His gaze returns to Lilisette as he moves in. Even faster than when he fought Kain, he begins to slash with fluid precision.]

Get a hold of yourself, you egotistical dolt!

No, not really. I almost lost a few friends today, and I had to fight Hades. I'm really tired.

Although I don't understand what's going on, you should just rest if your tired. I think that and a good talk, rather than fighting might make you feel better.

I can't rest. Hades nearly got everyone killed, and somehow, because of Seifer, Hades told his pet to target Zell and Sephiroth. Zell almost--

He's in really bad shape. I need to take care of him.

Ah, so this is about the tournament that happened.

Lili, I'll say this and I'll say it again.

You have to rest as well. I'm sure if you overwork yourself Zell might not like that.

I'll be fine. I can handle it. I'll take some cat naps while he's sleeping.

It kind of does. Although this place isn't quiet. There are Heartless here much like some other worlds.

Well, I guess I can help take care of them, then. For a friend.

But you would be on vacation, you don't work when on vacation. At least, that's what I know anyway.

Fighting helps me stay limber, so it's not work, really. And I'm always happy to help out a friend.

I'll I tend to do the fighting here sometimes, even though it isn't my job. But, that's what you get if they enter the kitchen anyway.

So, I guess to you it would be like training?

Exactly! If I don't remain fit, I'm like to pull a muscle while I fight. It's dangerous for a dancer; I've... seen dancers slaughtered due to such injuries...

A dancer must have a very dangerous job in your world then?

During the Great War, there was a dancer in every unit that was dispatched to the front lines. There were hundreds of dancers, all trained for moments such as those. Yet after the war, there were only a handful left.

So yes, I suppose it was one of the most dangerous professions in that time.

Well, I would have never thought of it that way. I guess dancers are different in every world.
