I believe I have a better understanding of what is happening and why I am here at this place thanks to the idi— . . . moogles that lurk here, but I'm curious as to why I'm supposed to be in communication with any of you. Are we supposed to be working together? Have you been brought here unwillingly? Did the curtain fall on your world only to have it rise and reveal a setting unfamiliar to you? How unfortunate.

To an extent. Though I'd really like to learn more from someone who is not a Moogle.

Yeah, well. Basically, Darkness is compiled of creatures called Heartless and pretty much their only purpose is to eat peoples' hearts. Our worlds also have barriers that keep us from accessin', let alone findin' out about, other worlds out there. The Heartless broke down those barriers and ate your homeworld. Apparently, the Darkness has this thing for spittin' people out who have too strong of wills for 'em to stay there or somethin' like that. And that's why you're here.

As it's been told to me, though: the worlds aren't destroyed, they're just lost.

Hm. So the Heartless are mostly responsible for all of this? [ Able to destroy worlds and transport people. A unique power... ]

Yeeeup. That's pretty much all you need to know. Most of us have been workin' together to try and fight 'em, and the King even has a little job deal set up where he can send you to a world that needs your help.
