star_kingdom | Case 02 - Accidental Video

[The latest event had kept this mouse busy. He hadn't taken on many cases since his arrival but one in particular was exasperated by what had transpired. It seemed that not only had many of the humans been deaged but so had members of the mouse population. It was hard enough searching for Mrs. Brisby's children with the number of worlds they could have wound up in, but then to have even more children running about... needless to say, he's among the group that is glad when things revert back to normal]

Dash it all!

[It seemed as if Mrs. Brisby's children had not joined her in this world, meaning they... like Dr. Dawson were still in their own world having possibly been taken by the heartless already. After weeks of searching, though he had assumed this would be the result.. Basil was quite frustrated and upset about the matter. So he did what any reasonable person would do in this situation.. he pitched a fit, slouched in a chair and grabbed the violin.

With the regular influx of new individuals being brought here.. it was still possible that the other mice could find their way here.. however.. for the moment the outlook seemed bleak.]

[Hearing that voice is the first indication that his communicator must have been on the whole time. Sobering up enough to collect it he replies]

Hello... to whom am I speaking?

I'm Rinoa! I... [ peers at her screen. did it just talk? so she wasn't hearing things then. ] Are you a friend of another mouse I saw here?

[Not much shakes Rosa. Backstabbing best friends? Random bursts of kidnapping? Eventually she gets past those things. However, that is a talking mouse. A talking mouse playing the violin. She is not certain what in the world to make of this at all and for more than a few moments stares blinking at the phone.]

Ah, is something amiss?

[Having tried to resume his violin playing on two previous occasions already.. he drags the bow across it swiftly, generating such a dreadful sound. ]
