[Though standing quite calm, one can see the unnerved and concerned thought behind the eyes of the young man who has just appeared on the feed. He looks tired, but he bows his head politely in greeting.]

Hello there. It's become apparent to me that I am among the many new arrivals here. ...I felt a very powerful disturbance in the Force before I awoke in this place-- it was unlike anything I've ever felt before. Sten, the moogle that greeted me, told me that no one is certain of the source, though... Is all of that accurate so far?

[He comes to an abrupt pause, looking very weary. Even more than he had before. It's almost as if he's falling ill; he brings a hand to his chest, taking a moment to breath in deeply.]

--Forgive me. [He's not felt so much loss before. Entire worlds, gone in a matter of moments in such an unnatural way. It's a terrible thought and it makes his heart contract in pain, just thinking about all the lives that have suddenly vanished. There's a reason for everything, but this--... It doesn't feel like the path the Force intended. So much of it affects him greatly, but he makes a point to recover quickly.] I was also told there may be a way to save these worlds and that many of you have been here for a lot longer. If anyone who is listening wouldn't mind answering some of my questions, I would appreciate it.

Master Qui-Gon, Queen Amidala-- anyone. If you're out there, please contact me.

[The feed clicks off.]

Hardly. I can't help but be curious about the other worlds that are out there, myself. How they function, how they differ from the one I come from. If nothing else, I can appreciate the desire for knowledge. That's horrible. It sounds more like a cult than a religion...

I think most worlds have a least one cool thing about them! What might be normal for someone can be exciting for someone else. [His smile turns cynical.] An almost world-wide cult. It's not like most of them were asking to be sacrificed. But, it should be gone now, so it's okay.

I agree. It's very refreshing to meet someone so insightful. I sincerely hope you're right. You can't always prevent bad things from happening, but you can try to make it well again.

[He scratches the back of his head, looking almost shy. Then, he grins confidently.] We're going to restore all the worlds! So this Force, what do you do with it when you learn about it?

I would very much like to help in doing so. Many things. First, you are taught to sense the things around you. Environment, people, wildlife. It's important to the Jedi to be able to understand the world around them-- to be in tune to it. Even now, I can feel the disturbances from the worlds lost to this Darkness.

Jedi are also trained in combat to use their abilities to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Most commonly, we are trained in telekinesis; the Force allows us to feel out an object and will it to move. Some even train to send waves of power through the air. Like a shockwave.

Ah-- please stop me if I'm rambling.

Hey, I wanted to know.

But how can a Jedi sense all that and...well, stay sane?

It sort of becomes a part of us. It's like an extension of all of our senses-- eyes, ears, touch... If nothing else, it functions much like a sixth sense, allowing us to sense danger when it is near, or to see things before they happen. Other things.

It's not easy. I'm still an apprentice, myself-- and I am still learning much about that branch of the Force. Well, I have a lot to learn in general. There is still much I don't know.

I wonder if that's like the connection Summoners have.

Summoners? What are they?

They were apart of that world. They had this sort of...connection with these creatures called Aeons, which were powered by the Summoners who became Fayth before them. But they could do things other people couldn't.

Really? How does it work? --What sort of things?

They had to pray and my guess is study a bunch of stuff to know the rituals and stuff they had to do. I'm probably wrong.

That's fascinating... I can see why you'd think the two are similar. And I'm sure worlds have different names for some of the same things.

Maybe! There are a lot of worlds out there.
