[Wearing dark menacing armor all the time doesn't exactly make anyone seem nice, but there's something about Golbez that's especially menacing today. He is enshrouded in darkness as though it were a cloak. He is in the midst of a battle, but who- or what- he fights against cannot yet be seen.]

Desperate fools! 

[Rather than his usual calm tone, his voice is filled with rage- but it's nothing compared to the voice that speaks next. The voice is there, yet not, and full of rage and loathing.]

Miserable creatures! Destroy them. They hurry toward their fate like the insects they are. 

[And Golbez obeys the voice, charging Thundaga, and then sending the spell off toward the unseen enemy in a crackle of lightning, to be met with shouts of pain.]

[It's not Golbez who answers- his attention is focused further away, at the battle that's going on between him and whatever parts of the nightmare are offscreen. Rather, it's the disembodied voice that does.]

[What Golbez is fighting isn't Heartless. Rather, it's some sort of indistinct figures. The only thing that seems truly tangible is the darkness surrounding him. But Riku's approach won't do much good- instead, Golbez's attention is directed toward him. If Riku isn't careful, he'll be hit by a Firaga.]

[Zemus doesn't bother to respond to Rosa. He's not about to do anything over the Sky Phone.

Once Rosa does arrive in Traverse Town on the Gummi ship, Golbez/Zemus will turn his attention toward her. And sure enough, there's a duck hovering just behind Golbez.]

[As long as Golbez doesn't make any hostile moves towards her, Rosa will focus on the real source of this trouble: that small duck behind him. Being an archer gives her the benefit of attacking the thing from a good distance and for the moment she's got a clear shot to take. She fits an arrow to the string of her bow and lets it fly towards the horrid little creature.]
