[The feed comes on and Uranus is there. She doesn't look pleased, nor does she look exactly upset. Under that soldier's facade, she's pissed and she's worried about Michiru and the others.]

Isn't it late in the day for this sort of game? [There's a slight, humorless smirk. She's spoken to the Kupo, but she doesn't buy it.]

[As she promised, it's only a few minutes before Mercury arrives.]

Sailor Uranus. [She calls the name quietly to call Uranus' attention. She offers a small smile.]

You must be disoriented arriving so suddenly. I'll try to answer your questions while we go back to the hotel.

[She walks towards Mercury when the younger girl catches her attention.]

How is the Princess?

[She's worried about Neptune, and Saturn. Looking after the Princess is a decent distraction.]

She's... doing her best. [It's not evasion; Usagi's been keeping herself cheerful and being her usual sweet, generous, loving self to all of them. But Mercury knows it must be lonely for her. And all of them are worried for the ones still not here.]

Good.

You've all moved into this hotel then? [She assumes that they couldn't have been there for long before she arrived.]

Yes, for now. However, some of us have received our fighting assignments already. We need to discuss other matters, too, when all of us can regroup.

[She nods.] That will be best, of course.

[She plunges in. She leaves out names.]

Some of us haven't arrived here. However, Sailor Pluto was here for some time before I arrived. Time seems to be uncertain here. [There's still hope.]

Yes, she told me that two are still missing.

[But there's some subtle relief at what Mercury says.] Time is uncertain here? Is it the darkness affecting time?

I don't think so, but I don't have the means to calculate it to be certain. More likely, with so many different universes now tied to this central point, there's been a natural fluctuation.

[She corrects herself.]

As natural as this sort of situation could be.

Heh. I'm sure Sailor Pluto is enjoying that. [The sarcasm, can you feel it, Mercury?]

Our powers are limited here. And hers come with a price anyway.

[But the truth is, and her tone tells, she's worried.]

[That makes her halt.] What price? [And what limitations?]

The taboos against her stopping time. [They remember those all too well.]

I thought you meant an added price in this place.

No; but we can't return to the Time-Space door, either.

Also, you should know that the Heartless are said to only be defeated by a certain weapon. We can fight them, but only to push them back and away from us.

[She shakes her head, a quiet scoff escaping her.] That's how it always goes with us.

It's alright. If that's all we can do for now, we'll protect everyone that way until we can find a better one.

[They are outsiders. Refugees on a strange planet or not, Mercury is still talking about them protecting outsiders.

She'll ignore that for now, however. The darkness cannot be allowed to go unchecked. It is still a threat to her Princess.]

[Mercury won all the Works Well With Others awards, Ok?

Besides, it's also what Usagi would want.]

[Oh, of course, which is why people thought of her as snobby, right?]

[She shakes her head.] The Princess is here; the enemy is here. If it cannot be destroyed, it much be fought.

[Hey, she still got the senshi groups to work together! She's changed!]

You're right. We'll protect her with everything we have.
