[The feed shows a lot of moogles dancing to some random song. It didn't move for a good moment before it was finally moved to show a blond hair man sitting there with a cat like smile on his face.]

I certainly wasn't expecting this when I arrived here.

[The smile stayed firmly in place as he looked around.]

Ah! It appears I didn't arrive with any of my travelling companions. I wonder if we got spilt up or something.

[He pauses. Carefully thinking of how they could have got separated this time, but nothing came to him.]

I guess I can ask one of these creatures once they stop dancing. Although, this could also work.

[Back to the communicator he had been given before these things went to do the time warp, he stares at it.]

Hello, has anyone seen a young brown haired boy named Syaroan, a reeeeaaaaallllly grumpy man named Kuro-tan and a cute little ball of cute called Mokona?

The multiverse has been swallowed up by the darkness, it seems. This darkness, perhaps born from the dregs of malice, the evil that lurks dormant in the hearts of all creatures somehow has taken form in this reality and has spread. It consumed the other worlds, certainly our worlds as well... not only mine but yours, perhaps even as far as Clow Country.

The fact the others aren't here could mean that they too have been consumed.

So, what you're saying is... The darkness is consuming worlds and that's why we are here?

[ Airchair. The man needs one! And possibly a stiff drink. ]

You were always quick on the uptake.

[ A small puff on her kiseru before continuing. ]

But it seems more and more people are being brought in every day. There may be hope for the others just yet.

One has to in difficult situations, right?

So they might turn up someday?

[ Of course we say drinking party! Fye pays, of course. ]

Maybe even when we least expect it.

[ Knowing smirk. Fate just works that way, funny thing. ]

Knowing our luck, it will be suddenly out of the sky.

[ Nah. Booze just tastes so much better when someone else pays. ]

Hopefully this time with a much smoother landing.

Any plans for your future here, Fai?

None as of yet, I might ask the creatures dancing just what I can do.

Those creatures are called Moogles. They're usually in the circle of public service: shopkeepers, mail carriers, that sort.

It's a little unusual to see them just dancing it public.

[ A beat. ]

Come to think of it, there seems to have been a lot of dancing going on nowadays.

So they do a lot of jobs. Must work really hard for little guys.

Really. Sounds like fun.

They seem to enjoy it however. Put their effort into their work and everything. But they're quite friendly and will be able to answer any questions you may have for them.

[ A bit of a chuckle. ]

More embarrassing than fun for others, if you ask me. Most people don't take to suddenly breaking into song in public.

That's always good to know, makes my job of finding out about this place a lot easier.

I guess not, but it's still fun if the song was better I guess. I wonder if it will happen to me.

There's plenty to know considering you'll be dealing with more than one world. Traverse Town is just one of several.

And you never know. They say it's a side effect of our being pulled here. Who knows what else will end up happening.

So, it means more research when I do go to these worlds then?

I think I'll be watching carefully to see what else can happen. Maybe with a nice drink or something.

More research, a vacation, consider it what you will. But there are some dangers present. Creatures called "heartless" populate some of these lands. Better stay in the safer ones until you get used to them.

[ Though she can't help what would happen should Fye decide to visit the Pride Lands.

But that thought is quickly shoved out of the way. ]

There's some interesting liquor the natives make with the local paopu fruit on Destiny Island, you know.

I'll try, but I can't make any promises.

Really? I wonder how good that stuff is?

It's a regional specialty. Destiny Island makes for a good vacation spot if you're into the sun and surf.

[ And with that, she makes a quick mental note to drop in sometime when she's got the chance. ]

I think I already know where to go.

Do you think they have speciality's in the other places?

The music is something new for all of us.

I do have some questions that the creatures couldn't answer since... well they went to dance. But what is this place exactly, like name and what is it like?

The world you're on is called "Traverse Town". I used to live there, and many of the inhabitants are friendly and helpful. However, you need to be cautious of shadows. If you see any moving suspiciously, or yellow eyes glowing in them, it's Heartless. They'll try to steal your heart.

Heartless do exactly what the name calls them. That makes sense.

So this is Traverse Town? Does it have anything else that's interesting?

The town is where refugees usually turn up when they escape the darkness. Otherwise, there's nice little restaurants and bistros in the town ... oh, and of course, the hotel. They're allowing refugees to stay for free until they can adjust. You should check it out.

I think I might. Exploring will give me a better feel of the place.

[ She nods and smiles. ] Traverse Town isn't too complicated, so I'm sure you'l be able to find your way. The moogles will help you out if you ask directions. Good luck with everything, Fai.
