[After the screen flickered a few times, a young girl with short red hair came on the screen. Her eyes still looked a little irritated like she’d been crying not too long ago. She tried to sound more cheery when she spoke over the communicator but her smile didn’t quite meet her eyes]

I know-- you said I should introduce myself…. But I doubt that there’s anybody here that I know.

[She replied still speaking to the moogle who was off screen. The thought of a talking animal was still farfetched to her, still it was better to try this then sit here and do nothing at all]

Uh-- Hello? Can anybody hear me? [Then she coughed to clear her throat before continuing] Well if anyone is listening I’m Naru Osaka from the Juuban district. If anyone can tell me more about this place-- I’d appreciate it.

Don't be afraid. Traverse Town isn't bad. I kind of got here a little unexpectedly, but for all that could have gone badly, I'm glad I ended up here. There's a lot of places to...that hobby a lot of people seem to like...oh yes. Lots of places to go shopping. I think it's like a small town with more stuff.
