[Appearing on the feed and getting straight down to business, Leon gives the feed a single nod in greeting.]

So. I've been hearing about some of you guys wanting to join the Restoration Committee. Frankly, we could use all the help we can get. ...I would have done this sooner, but. [A shrug.] Been a little hectic.

Here it is, then. If you're interested, reply to this message with your name, your skills - fighting or otherwise - and what world you're living on. Who knows. If we get enough interest, we might be able to set up a little something on each world. Radiant Garden's not the only one that needs help.

[And he leaves it at that, promptly turning the feed off again.]

[His first impulse is to be angry. It was Leon who had left, Leon who had let him down, Leon who had forgotten--no. It was everyone who had let him down, and not one thing he could do about it. He shrugs, sounding defeated.]

You know what, forget it.

Hang on a second. ...This has been happening a lot lately. People swearing they know me-- but I can't remember. I didn't mean to upset you.

[He glances at him, eyes wide in surprise.]

You didn't upset me. I mean...don't worry about it. [Awkwardly scratching the back of his head, he looks down, then back up, grinning suddenly.] What's the...what was it, Restoration Community?

Just a little something a few of us on Radiant Garden put together after we got our world back. It was in ruins so we decided to restore it. Anymore, it's mostly repair and protecting the town from Heartless. Figured that cause would work just as well anywhere else.

[His expression turns hopeful!] You mean you're trying to restore the other worlds?

Sort of. There's not a lot we can actively do to bring back the ones that are lost, but the Heartless have done a lot of damage on other worlds that have been spared. We want to try our best to repair that damage and prevent them from causing more.

I don't believe that there's nothing we can do. There's something we can do. There always is. But...good luck with that.

Didn't say there wasn't. I just wish I knew what that something was. Thanks.

Yeah. Me too. [He feels bad, lying to Leon, but... His head suddenly jerks up and his tone of voice is almost nervous.] I'll join on one condition.

Name it.

[Determination overcomes any hesitancy he had, and he speaks quickly.] I work with you.

You got it. As long as you can keep up, that is.

[He puts his hands on his hips, mirroring Leon's smirk. For the first time in what feels like a long time, (for him), he laughs geniunely.] I think I can keep up with an old man like you!

Old man, huh? We'll see if you're still saying that when you're eating dirt.

[He meets that challenge with a look of his own.] Does it taste good? I'm sure you eat it often!

Hmph. Guess you'll find out soon.

And what if I don't?

I'm sure we can arrange something.
