[It's been some time since his brother has disappeared, and Golbez has eventually accepted the inevitable- that he was returned to darkness. He's had a while to think about why it is that a Paladin was returned to their stolen world, while a Dark Lord remained free... and he hasn't reached many good conclusions while he's been thinking.]

What is it, I wonder... that makes these worlds safe. How have these worlds earned the favor of the light, that though they are beset by heartless, they are never overtaken? What is it, that makes these worlds worthy of serving as a refuge and a safe haven while all others are overtaken by the darkness, in one attack?

Is it mere chance? Or is it, [and here there is an edge of mocking bitterness to his voice,] that these worlds are truly more blessed with light?

I have not seen evidence that they were. And if they have... then what is it that prevents it from happening again, when Heartless are so commonly found?

And which is that?

Other worlds are not the same as this, but nevertheless, they have defenses. And if these worlds that serve as a refuge are so prepared for an assault of the Heartless, then are they not obliged to help defend other worlds as well?

These worlds do not behave as do those desperately at war. With the amount of refugees that have appeared from various worlds taken by darkness... it makes one wonder.

The influx of people has not lessened, as I have seen it, since this phenomenon began. It speaks of movement by the darkness, certainly.

I don't think we can assume that so quickly. The worlds not here yet, could still be saved. The people we're missing can still be saved, too. We've already seen them arrive here later in some cases.

But they are saved by no perceived actions of our own, and disappear into darkness once again just as easily.

We still need to work for their sake. And some day, we'll defeat the enemy behind this, and end that cycle.

What about being consumed by darkness could possibly be seen as 'all right?'

Not fair is it? King Mickey and his little mouseketeers… they only worry about the worlds they care about and all the rest aren’t given a second thought.

[He remembers that offer Hades made before about opening a door through the darkness to his world... the only difference is, now, he's more open to taking Hades up on that offer.]

There has been no evidence of any efforts to prevent disappearances into darkness, or to retrieve worlds from it... I am not inclined to work with those who make empty promises.
