[He comes to himself still on the ground. The white uniform will need to be cleaned, he notes in passing. The small creatures nudging him bear no resemblence to youma; this place bears no resemblence to the Dark Kingdom. Where is he?

Where is Master Endymion? He struggles to a sitting position, despite the protests of moogles who think he's not ready to move yet. He has to. He raises his hands, as if playing a piano- and indeed, music starts to fill the air, perfect and clear, captured by the communicator as well. It is searching, seeking, desperate.

But after only a moment, he stops. His hands slump and then fall beside him. His eyes find the ground and his shoulders sag in defeat.]

My music cannot reach the master from here.

Zoisite... Master Endymion and the princess are married. She ended the world again when he died, but revived it and all on it. All but the two of them. Her Guardians restored her, and we restored him.

[It was an inevitability, really. Even in the last life, they had not been able to keep those two apart. And it wasn't even letting them be together that triggered it. It was Endymion's death.]

[It was still that blind passion that led to those events. Only because this is Kunzite saying it does Zoisite even consider that the words might mean there is no need to continue struggling to keep the prince and princess from each other.

That fate repeated, as they knew it must. But there had been something beyond that. Almost, reluctantly, he feels an admiration for the girl he has typically felt little pity for.]

Then you intend to allow them to meet freely, if the master arrives?

I will make certain that he knows it is not the princess of his world. [Assuming, of course, that it is their master that arrives and not the version from another reality.]

I will watch him when they meet, but I cannot forbid my master from meeting his wife.

You know the risks. [His voice is low, but insistent.] They have not come to that point yet, here.

We do not know what point in time he will come from. You and I prove quite well that even those from the same reality needn't be from the same moment in time.

I understand. However, here, it would not even only be our world affected.

Our world has already been affected, Zoisite, by an enemy stronger than Metalia. It took the master and the princess working together to defeat Metalia. It may take cooperation for our world to be restored.

That is why we cannot risk the danger of their meeting. [Not just their world, but all of these, could end in a ginzuishou-fueled blaze.]

I trust your judgment. Howevr, let us discuss it later. [Trust, yes; but he wants a feel of the situation for himself before he agrees or continues to argue.]

Tell me what I need to know about this place.

[He doesn't want to spend the rest of this life being second guessed by his second in command. If that's how things are to be, he wants to know up front. It wasn't that enjoyable for him, either, when they were at odds because of his need for revenge.]

It is where all the refugees arrive and are instantly accosted by Moogles, bearing munny and hotel room keys. There are shops to fill the basic necessities of life, docks for the... Gummi Ships, if one cannot teleport to their desired location, and... a whole lot of nothing.

The other worlds here are more interesting, however there are a number of Heartless wandering about here.

[He's quite willing to follow Kunzite's decisions in the end. They'll get it right.]

Heartless? Those are the creatures that entered our world? There must be something manipulating them. [He has trouble imagining them as more intelligent than, say, youma.]

[Of course. It'll just take time. Their friendship, and their professional relationship, have taken a bit of a toll with Beryl and the whole revenge thing. Kunzite's soul has had years to heal; Zoisite has not had the time to adjust to the change.]

Of course, there is always something pulling the strings, hm? No one knows what it is, though.

[It's not precisely unfamiliar. There had always been a thousand questions: locations, identities, the nature of objects or beings in their world. This broader gathering of entire worlds only multiplies them.]

What have you decided to do in the meantime?

There is a king here, looking for help fighting the Heartless if one has a mind to. [Doesn't he sound enthused?] But he is not my king nor my prince. Besides, the Heartless are numerous enough that they will be found either way.

[Without his master's word, or at least Kunzite's, Zoisite sees no reason to directly involve himself either. He will defend himself, and those he loves. There is no strong reason or obligation for him to do more.]

I will serve no one but the master, now that I am free. There is no need for another king.

[Kunzite nods ever so slightly. He hadn't expected otherwise.]

There are other worlds to visit here. Other things to pursue. We will either find a way to restore our world or we will be forced to wait for our master to arrive. We'll prepare for the later while working for the former.

[He bites back a half-sarcastic remark, asking Zoisite if that's alright with him. From when Zoisite has come from, it's unsurprising.]

[Without the sarcastic question, Zoisite still nods. Then, and only then, does the question occur to him:]

How long have you been here?

[Besides that, Kunzite has somehow come from some future (and very blessed) time. What does that mean, if their world was plunged into darkness at both points?]

And Nephrite, and the sailor senshi, have they been here this long?

They were all here when I arrived.

[He has to wonder what it means. Was the princess' bond with her senshi so great that they were able to reunite here; but the shitennou's bond to their master, weakened by so many things that happened between them in this life and their rebellion against him, was unable to keep them at his side?

No. For now, he will do as Kunzite has done, and consider himself their master's forerunner.]

We are outnumbered. [A casual observation; he does not anticipate problems between the senshi and shitennou from what Kunzite has said so far.]

Yes. Even were we all here, we still would be. It seems the princess, at least this version of her, has a few extra senshi.
