[The feed opens to Obi-Wan standing outside a dressing room it looks like, wearing this. He's rubbing the side of his neck, looking a little puzzled.]

Would anyone like to explain to me the fashion trends on these worlds? I tried my best to mimic what I've seen, but...

[He looks down at his apparel, then back up with a shrug.]

Evidently I missed the mark. [But he flashes a cheerful grin into the feed regardless.] Not sure what all the fuss is about. I rather like it. --This, however, is not for me. [If he had his choice, he'd still be wearing his tunic.] I recently got a job at the Cat's Eye café and I would like to look presentable.

So, then. Any help, I would appreciate.

I might have got along alright if this weren't an entirely different galaxy with entirely different trends. Ah-- I'm in the clothing store a three blocks south of our house.

[She holds back another laugh and shakes her head just a bit before she turns of the device and heads to the clothing store. Thinking of it now, she'd never seen Obi-Wan in anything but his Jedi garb, even in her own time. He had always been so put together, no wonder this had amused her so much.]

There you are. [Her height always put her at a disadvantage when looking for people, especially with racks of clothing obscuring her view.] What kind of cafe is this?

It looks warm, now that the weather is cooler in some of these worlds.

It is quite toasty. Sadly, that's not really a factor in my hunt for proper civilian clothes.

Well, I've observed that many people in these worlds enjoy clothes with contradicting colors. And... also unnecessary amounts of zippers and belts, but I wasn't terribly keen on unneeded accessories.

While that does appear to be the case I wouldn’t look to them for fashion advice. Besides, I don’t recall seeing anyone wearing plaid.

You should try for a suit from a tailors. It could be made to fit you perfectly and would come out looking much more dignified.

Most of them, yes. I've found that each one tends to have its own unique style of dress.

Well, it's comfortable. And Senator Amidala has volunteered to help me with my... ah, apparent lack of fashion sense. It might be best to ask him. I'd hate to chase his customers out with blinding clothing.

Not terribly, but tastes and trends change from one culture to another. What might be fashionable to one might be atrocious to another.
