I don't think you have to attend. It's just a convenient option if you're young enough.

The children, or those barely of age might have to go but even they can opt out if they find someone to act as an adult guardian.

I never went to school before darkness took my world. it's a lot more reading than I'm used to but the food is pretty good.

I know things, but I wouldn't call myself smart. It's more the fact I've never really been to a school before to learn, I was home schooled.
