B-b-but I already graduated! The first time was hard enough I don't want to have to go through exams again!

I don't think you have to attend. It's just a convenient option if you're young enough.

The children, or those barely of age might have to go but even they can opt out if they find someone to act as an adult guardian.

I never went to school before darkness took my world. it's a lot more reading than I'm used to but the food is pretty good.

Yeah, school is like that.
