[Video/Action] Episode III

[Whatever reason the Qui-Gon opened the video feed for was interrupted before he could say a word by the sudden unexpected sight of two things headed his way. Those two things being his apprentice and a rather lengthy and strange stripped furry creature. The answer of just why Obi-Wan was chasing the creature became apparent as it drew closer to him, the silver casing of Obi-Wan's lightsaber catching the light briefly from where it stuck out of the critter's mouth.

Placing himself within the creature's path, it skidded to a halt seconds before it would have crashed into him and he rescued the purloined weapon from the weasel-like critter's mouth. His expression somewhat amused as he looked from it toward Obi-Wan.]

You seemed to have lost something, Padawan...

It caught me off guard... This is also exactly why cute and harmless looking things are not to be trusted.

[He's keeping himself from expressing any amusement further than the smile on his lips and the humor in his eyes as he extends the retrieved weapon back toward it's rightful owner.]

I'm sure it didn't mean any actual harm from it's actions. Some animals are fascinated by shiny objects..

[Once the lightsaber is back in Obi-Wan's custody, he turns his attention briefly to shutting the communicator down, pocketing it and then looks down at the creature which is still standing before him, looking up at him almost curiously. As a precaution, he situated one hand over his own weapon... just in case it was that instead of him which had the animal's attention.]

Any idea just what it is?

Oh, Master! At least when I broadcast you, it's of endearing things!

Aside from a pest? Not in the slightest, but someone around here is bound to know.

[He gave Obi-Wan an amused look for both the teasing exclamation and the question. Kneeling down, he extended his hand toward it to allow it to sniff him; only to have it shove its head beneath the hand. He took the hint and stroked its head briefly as he considered the rest of it.]

Well, it certainly is friendly, whatever it is. I'll have to ask around and see what I can find out about it.

Please tell me you're not intending to keep it.

[He refrains from laughing at the suggestion and the grimace. Though his the amused smile is still quite visible.]

I think I'll leave whether or not he stays up to him actually. He seems smart enough to be capable of deciding that for himself I think.

And we all know what that means.

[Video just of this… a strange looking man laughing manically at the Padawan, the terribly sneaky striped creature, and the perfect ‘straight-man’ of a Master.

[It's a short while later before the man responds to this strange, though somewhat still amusing video.]

Hello. You wouldn't have any idea just what the creature in the footage was, would you?

A creature like that…~

[A pause as he laughs behind his hand. ]

Shee, shee, shee!

I have never seen one like that before~ What are you going to do with it~?

A funny creature like that should be well taken care of~

[With the lightsaber returned, there's really only one, very, very, important thing left to investigate.]

What type of creature was that?

I was hoping someone might be able to answer that question for me actually. It seems similar to some mammals I've seen, but it's quite obviously larger than they are and if my guess is correct... it seems somewhat more intelligent than those animals.

[Hmmm.] I've seen strange creatures here before now, too. They must be native to these worlds.

What ever it is, it's actually rather friendly... just perhaps a bit too curious and prone to mischief.

[It's also apparently taken something of a liking to him it or something of the sort, since it has been following him around ever since his little confrontation and retrieval act.

Really, he's just waiting for Obi-Wan to start making jokes about him adopting it into their little family they seem to have going currently.]

[She'd give a lot to feel part of a family of friends like that. And the moment someone tells her about water pokemon, she's sold on the whole creatures idea, really.]

I see. He seems to like you. I wonder what sort of things such strange creatures eat...?

[He gives the furret something of an amused look as it settles to rest beside where he's now currently seated.]

I don't know currently, but I imagine I'll eventually learn.

[If only through trial and error.]

But if he's a wild animal, it might not be good to try to tame him. He'd still be wild.

[If only she knew pokemon.]

I'll let him decide if he cares to stay or go, I have no intentions of making such a life-changing choice for him.

[It's not his right after all, though if it's current behavior is anything to judge by... he doesn't think his new 'friend' is going to go anywhere else anytime soon. Not without him anyway.]

[A thought, then.]

You seem to like animals a great deal. Have you noticed many new species here? Or rather, species that didn't... [She breaks off as realization hits.]

I was about to say species not native to Earth, but, I didn't ask whether you're from Earth yourself.

I haven't been to any world's by that name yet actually. I grew up on a planet called Coruscant.

While a good number of the creatures on the worlds here resemble those on some worlds I know, there's some like the little canine-looking fellow a friend of mine found and then this guy here which are rather different.

It's similar for me. Some of what I've seen here resembles my home [Especially since Agrabah is so similar to her world's middle east in ways]

But others, I've never seen or heard of anything like them.

[There's a slight smile on his lips.] Are you making a new friend?

[He returns the smile with one of his own, good humor in his blue eyes as well.]

It would seem so.

I haven't seen one exactly like that before. Do you know what they're called?

It's so cute!

[Don't mind her she is just staring at her, you can almost see the hearts in her eyes.]</small.

Quuui-Gon needs help with creature?

[Stitch gets a warm, if amused smile from the man. He pretty much has the situation under control now, or at least for right now he does anyway.]

I'm trying to figure out just what it is actually. You wouldn't happen to know would you?

Stitch hasn't seen it before. Looks like food to Stitch.

It seems you've made a new friend, Master Qui-Gon.
