Darkness... So it's come to this.

[The video shows an image of a man in draconian armor, his eyes hidden in shadow by the helmet. He's scowling deeply though, at the things those Hummingway- no, wait, moogles- have told him.]

Everything depends upon finding my way home. I refuse to accept that I can't return.

After all that we endured, for the world to be lost in darkness... [It's the worst outcome imaginable to Kain. He sighs deeply and is about to say more on the matter, when something dawns on him about what Cecil said. He isn't sure how much he should say, or what this means, but...] Right before you arrived here, we were on the moon?

[All the talk of Darkness has gotten him... concerned about what that means, in relation to his own Dark Side, and Zemus, and... He'd best not talk of any of it. A man has to keep his problems to himself.]
