[Video / Open Action : The World that Never Was ]

[ If you want to see the power and strength of the Darkness why not dive into its very heart? Or… at least the closest thing to it that you can. That was why this world was chosen. A world filled with the heartless and another strange kind of monster that no one had mentioned to him before. They were white and instead of slithering across the ground they kind of pranced methodically forward before striking out with their long limbs.
The creature he faced did just that, sliding closer over the ground and then pausing as if to size him up before striking out at him. The attack was met and countered with a sudden successful deployment of a laser like weapon. A sword of light that flashed to life from a strange metallic housing on the Commander’s forearm.
Eagle smiled as the creature recoiled. For all that posing and strutting they were still weak to laser weapons? It gave him an advantage.
The Dusk swiveled forward as Eagle leapt away from this fresh assault until both were lost off screen. The sounds of a battle could be heard but the device sat peacefully where it was, only being disturbed once when a heartless slithered over to it to look deep inside the lens. Behind the heartless a few more of its companions could be seen heading towards the noisy skirmish. The heartless bobbed its head and picked up the device but before it could do much more than turn it over in its clawed hand the creature was swallowed up by a flash of bright light. The supplies these monsters drop when they disappear scattered across the ground and with them the communicator also fell to a rubble strewn resting place until it was recovered and dusted off by its owner. ]

Are you alright over there?

[Eagle spoke to some one over his shoulder and while the answer wasn’t picked up by the camera he did look back at the device. ]

The red light is… Has this been on the entire time? Apparently that is a problem these communicators have. They like to turn themselves on at inconvenient times.

But, since it is on anyway. The dark shadowy creatures are the heartless, but maybe some one could tell me what the white figures are? They are very different than the other creatures.

[He smiles mischievously when he adds. ]

Mr. Mystery Voice, if you would like to meet I could return to Traverse Town after we finish up here. There is a little tavern there that would make a nice meeting place.

I could have, I suppose, but I had heard there were more heartless here than there are at Traverse Town. I wanted to see them at their best.
The only surprise has been this creature…

[Give him a moment and an image of a white nobody appears on the screen. It is just a still image of a Dusk. ]

No one mentioned them, but the readings I get from them are a lot different than the heartless.

[So many of them like to hunt down trouble. Oh well, it's not like she's not used to it.]

No, I don't know what they are, but I'd heard there were other creatures out there besides Heartless. I guess that has to be one of them. Is anyone telling you anything about them?

No, not yet. Maybe no one else knows what they are either. They don’t seem quite as motivation-less as the heartless, but they still attack without stating the reason why.

You could always meet me on this world if you want some place more quiet. There are so many heartless there really don't appear to be many people around at all.

I am sorry to worry you, Ms. Please don't worry, these creatures aren't anything I can't handle.

[Never seen them before? That was a bit disappointing. ]

This is a little weapon I some how was able to bring with me. I can make a laser sword appear at will.

I'm afraid it really doesn't leave these creatures much chance.
