[As soon as the cheerfulness appears, it's gone. The commonly seen light in his eyes fades. His shoulders slump as if weighed down heavily by some invisible burden. The forced enthusiasm dies, and the rest of his words turn flat. Now that it's over, he has no desire to pretend anymore.]

As for me...I think I'll go explore it some. I'd like to be left alone.

[Stepping out, there's a yelp as he drops the communicator, he leans down to pick it up, his appearance slightly different than before.]

On this world called Castle of Dreams... and I guess he did, 'cause I was the same size as the mice in that world. Cinderella was about fifty times taller than me. I even got caught in a mouse trap.

[Leon may not be the best comforter either, but he knows Tidus well enough to know something's up and he's concerned. So much so that he's going to ignore his odd appearance for now.]

[Tidus is sort of crouching on the floor, knees pulled close against him as he absently pokes at the surface. He keeps his eyes there, not meeting Leon's.]
