[Ven pushes himself to his feet, folding his arms behind his head and looking at the ceiling waaaaay far above them. This really did remind him of Castle of Dreams, if only for the size issues. But that was where he finalized his dream - and this world had been saved from the Darkness. There must be more good here, somewhere.]
And don't be afraid of being wrong sometimes. Other people do it more than you, but... [A shadow passes over his face; this isn't the happiest of memories.] Darkness can also get in when you think you're right, just because you want to be. I guess it's arrogance - but you can do things with good intentions and still hurt people. So don't be afraid to think stuff out, okay?

[He looks at Ven again with the feeling that he's speaking from experience.] I'm not always the best at thinking things through...but I'll try. I think I know what you mean by good intentions. It was like that back on Spira. They thought they were doing the right thing, but they weren't. I think we all do it sometimes. But we can step back and think too.

That's close enough. But the Light doesn't make you lock in to something and stay there. You've gotta be able to change with it. Otherwise you get stuck in a pattern and you can't get out when you need to.

That would be pretty dangerous. The Light doesn't make you do that...it just is?
