[Makoto took the device tentatively into her hand. The Moogle had been kind enough to turn it on for her but hadn’t had a chance to mention it before the brunette started turning it over from side to side. She was clearly kneeling down in order to be closer to the moogle, and her eyes were wide with curiosity]

Now,,,what is this thing again?

[This wasn’t the first time she’d seen anything like it, but it was the first time she’d seen this model… of…whatever it was. The view shifted from showing her face to the ground and sometimes caught snatches of the moogle. The moogle flailed a little and mouthed, “Its on!”. Makoto didn‘t catch it though.]

Hrn?

[Finally the moogle verbally explained it]

It’s a communicator, Kupo. It’s very important here, you should never be without it. Why don’t you introduce yourself to everyone

Everyone? [Makoto looked the moogle straight on then looked to the comm and noticed the red light. With a yelp..]

It’s on! [She threw it slightly into the air, obviously feeling embarrassed and flustered.] Why didn’t you tell me that before?!

I tried, Kupo! [Please don’t harm me]

[Makoto laughed awkwardly and placed a hand behind her head, then she pointed the lens back towards her.]

Uh… hi there everyone. I’m Makoto Kino, and I’m looking forward to meeting all of you. Well, maybe not all of you…but [She bowed her head for a moment then tried to end it on a positive note] If anyone could tell me more about this place, I’d really appreciate it.

What's your name?

My name is Yuiko Hawatari and it's my job to help those who arrive.

It's nice to meet you Yuiko. So, uh.. this creature already told me where we are and everything but- It's all a little strange.

[She's still not convinced that this isn't some sort of dream]

Maybe I shouldn't have tried that new recipe so late last night..

Are you from here?

[She shakes her head slightly.]

No, I'm from another world that was destroyed by darkness nearly a year ago.

No way! [A hand flew up to her mouth] You've been here that long?

Aah...Makoto.

[Smile!]

I hope I can be counted among those you look forward to meeting?

I didn't really phrase that well.

[Makoto admitted, the embarrassment evident on her features. Once she realized who she was now speaking to, she snapped to attention.]

Setsuna!? You're here too!? [Then to answer her question] Of course I'm glad to see you! [She laughed]

Ahaha.

[Grin~]

Ami, Rei, and Hotaru are also here, so I must assume you will be happy to see them as well.

Yes. It doesn't seem that long to me though.

[At least someone was getting some enjoyment out of her less-than-smooth introduction to the populace. Hearing that she wasn't here alone helped to ease Makoto's mind but it raised more questions]

You bet! [She smiled. It was always nice having one's friends around to back you up]

So this isn't some kind of dream? This is really happening? All that stuff about the darkness and worlds being swallowed up by it... is true?

[It hadn't really set in that this girl's world- an entire world - had been destroyed]

Oh, well it's probably better not to think about how long it's been anyway.

I guess that's true.

[She pauses for a moment before she remembered what she was meant to be doing.]

Oh! So, do you have any questions?

[Oops, Yuiko did say this was her job]

Not right at the moment. I thought I'd just look around to start with, if that's alright.

Am I keeping you from helping someone else?

Makoto.

[Yay! Sailor Jupiter is here! Saturn is thrilled to see you!

But she does have to giggle behind her hand a little.]

It didn't record too much.

I'm afraid so, Makoto. Our world...is also a victim of this invasion.

[She shakes her head slightly.]

No, there hasn't been any one else in a few days, so we haven't been as busy.

Well that's good, I guess. I wouldn't want to keep you.

That's awful. [Plus it also meant that Usagi, Mamoru, Minako, and the others were still trapped over there. After they had just stopped Galaxia... and everything]

.. but we're here, right? We can still do something to help.

[We senshi need to stick together, and all.. plus Hotaru was always a sweet kid]

I am ok. Ami came to get me when I arrived so it hasn't been too bad.

[She wasn't alone for very long at all. That is a great thing!]

Are you at Traverse Town? The moogle should be able to tell you.

[Ami's face is on the communicator at once, looking rather flustered in her surprise.]

Mako-chan! I can come right away. Are you alright? Were you hurt? I'll bring anything you need.

That's good, when did you get here?

[Looks to the little creature, it nodded]

Yeah, I am. [She nodded to confirm it]

[Makoto was pleased to catch sight of her friend but she wasn't entirely sure why she sounded so concerned. Her arrival had been a fairly pleasant.]

Ami! There you are. [She smiled down at the communicator having alreadyheard from both Setsuna and Hotaru that Ami was also here.] Alright? Hurt? No, I'm fine. I just woke up in this strange city.

Is there something I should know about this place? [Why would I have been hurt?]

[No, no, see that rug? It's a great place to sweep the worries under. Ami finds herself smiling in relief. It must not be too bad, anyway: Makoto isn't transformed, and doesn't look injured.]

You're in Traverse Town right now. [Ignorrring the question.] I'm in a place called Agrabah, but I can reach Traverse Town quickly, if you want to meet there.
