I have to say, I'm glad that everyone has pulled through the Heartless attack. And also, that we have a new world to explore.

I wonder, has anyone had a chance to go there yet? I'm thinking of checking it out myself. Hotaru, would you like to go with me on that?


[At this, Setsuna switches to video, revealing her secret underground basement lab...and its in shambles. There's been definite clean-up done on parts of it, but its pretty obvious that quite a lot of the equipment is beyond gone.

At this, she lets out the smallest stress sigh.]

So...the Heartless energy from the invasion shorted out the tracking mainframe just before they actually arrived in the worlds. It couldn't handle the sudden influx of so much energy, so we'll need to go back and improve the schematics on that, so that it won't die out like this again.

Aah, but Rei, Makoto, Hotaru...you probably don't know what I mean. Its a worlds-wide tracking system Ami and I have been working on in order to track Heartless energy and movements and to prevent invasions...like the one that just happened. The tracking devices themselves are still working, though right now there's nothing to send the data to.

[Her frank tone, however, can't hide her disappointment entirely. Months of work, up in smoke. And judging by the burn marks on some of the stuff, that statement was quite literal.]

I know. It's just...rather discouraging. I'd been working on this ever since I arrived. I was certain we were getting close to perfecting it...

We'll have help in that. We won't be fighting alone. More of us are here, and we have allies in these worlds, especially against her goals.

I know that. But, the barrier is apparently impenetrable. We all will certainly have to find a way to get enough warriors through it before she manages to become too ensconced in the castle.

I doubt the direct approach casting magic at the darkness barrier will work much, unfortunately.

...It is quite possible that using teleportation could allow an access point through the barrier. But, the question is how to keep such an access point, regardless of how it's created, open long enough to take the barrier down, or to make any headway against Maleficent's stronghold on the castle.

[A pause.]

Perhaps we should request another meeting with others, much as the Fire Lord did before the invasion.
