[Video or Agrabah Action if you want to save her]

[Hotaru removed the bow she had been wearing around her neck and she ran her hand over the spot. The bite mark was almost entirely gone now but she still felt like hiding the place it had been from everyone.
Why had that happened? What did it mean? Everything was still so confusing even weeks later.
Maybe that was why the heartless had been able to get so close to her without her realizing it. The creature slithered over the ground creeping ever nearer to the bed the young girl was sitting on. This wonderful sadness was something the heartless wanted for itself! ]

I don’t think I will be going out today.

[No, staying here in this dark room surrounded by the pale light of a single lamp fit her mood a little better. ]

There really is no point to it anyway.

[She had needed them, her friends, and their support; and only Minako, out of all the girls, had even said a word. She hates the thoughts and feelings it gives her, only heightened by the heartless still poking themselves everywhere and into everything it seems, these days. It brings back all the loneliness, all the times she's looked for them and not seen them, all the times she's needed them, all the times they've been busy or preoccupied or simply disinterested. All the times they aren't there.

But Hotaru is in danger. That's more important. So it's Sailor Mercury that arrives just after Sailor Venus. She can't bring herself to say comforting words, so she focuses on the creature instead, adding her attack to the other senshi's.]

Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!

[Why they fight was lost to the darkness as well. It really was difficult to care about anything or anyone else while the power on the heartless ate away at one's resolve. Even friends could be overlooked, not because they weren't thought of but because the heartless made it impossible to see anything other than all of the problems.
The attacks leveled against the creature made the heartless skitter away from its target. The further the heartless was driven away from Hotaru the more herself she began to feel again. It became easier to remember the reason why she fought.]

For the Princess...

[She held her head in her hands trying to remember all of it. ]

And my friends.

[She felt relief when she started hearing her answer the question, without anything negative behind it. She smiles as she went on over to her, looking to Mercury, then back to Hotaru, she was glad she had backup.]

That's right. that's what we fight for.

Why doesn't matter. [It's not like Mercury to belittle those bonds and loyalty and friendship.] We just need to eliminate that heartless. [Or to be almost cold in battle.]

[The heartless stepped back again, readying its claws to leap over and attack Venus, just as Hotaru's situation didn't seem so very hopeless to her anymore. She was able to hop off that bed and grab her transformational item. ]

Saturn Crystal Power, Make Up!

[Venus, jumped to the side, kneeling down upon the ground as she once again used her chain to unleash another Love and Beauty Shock.]

We should take this outside, before he cause more damage in here.

[Unfortunately, Mercury's own troubles with the heartless had been ongoing since they'd started to appear, and didn't quite vanish.]

There's little difference if it's here or there. We should just finish them. [These were not the words of the girl who'd been so careful to preserve Crown from the attacks of Beryl and her puppet Endymion.]

[Mars hadn't even wasted time when she saw Hotaru in trouble. Venus was trying to talk her down-- she just needed to get there as quickly as possible. She catches the tail end of the conversation as she arrives, relieved at first to see Hotaru had transformed, seemingly snapped out of it, but... What's wrong with Mercury?]

Staying here would destroy this room-- or worse. What are you saying?

[She looks over to Venus and Saturn, standing prepared but confused.]

We should work together to bait it outside!

[Hotaru wasn't entirely over it. The memory of Kaname and the confusion his attention had thrown her into was just something she was trying to ignore for the sake of the things that were important to her. ]

But, Mercury this is your house?

[Trash the place? Saturn really didn't want to do anything like that. It would hurt a friend, wouldn't it?
Mars's plan of trying to get the heartless outside sounded like a much better idea and... ]

Since I was the target maybe I can get it to follow me!

[She made for the door allowing those dark tempting thoughts to be remembered only when she was safely outside. A lure for the heartless.
Once the heartless sensed the confusion in her heart it followed after her just as she thought it might. ]

[Venus had started to worry slightly about what exactly Mercury was saying, she wanted to destroy the room? She didn't seem to care at all. She was worried something big must be on her mind. Looking over to Mars, who seemed like her usual self and then to Saturn who had just ran outside to make the creatures follow her, which thankfully they did, Venus herself got her chain ready, hoping to round them up into one giant pile.]

Right, we just need to get them all close together. might as well make the target easier that way.

Then, let's go.

[At least Mercury didn't seem too set on the idea; when the others made their plan, she seemed willing to follow it instead, even going as far as to head outside shortly after Saturn; catching the heartless between them might make it an easier battle.]

[With a nod and a resolve to confront Mercury later, Mars focused on the issues at hand. They had to make sure Saturn was safe! She followed shortly behind Venus, her flame arrow materializing in her hand as she ran. She also caught on to Mercury and Venus's attempts to circle the heartless and sandwich them. She made for the only unguarded side and tried to help round them up.

Only when she saw an opportunity did she go on the offensive and try to eliminate some of the creatures.]

Mars Flame Sniper!

[Kaname...

The heartless crouched and leapt at Saturn just as Mar's flame sniper attack slammed into the creature from its unprotected flank. The creature dissolved in a poof of multicolored balls but for some reason the creature's disappearance caused several other heartless to slide out of the shadows around the senshi.]

There's more!

[Saturn warned right before she had to raise her glaive and shout out her silent wall attack in order to prevent a few of the newly arrived heartless from getting too close. ]

[Venus did not like the way things were going and what's worse, there were more of them appearing faster than they could possibly destroy them. This was not good, this was not good at all. Using her chain she whip it up, to hopefully gather a good amount of them as possible. She didn't understand just what was going on, but she knew she had to sort this out now before anyone she cared about got hurt.]

Mercury Aqua Mirage!

[The explosive globes of water shoot towards their targets, locked on almost as if guided by Mercury's will the whole way. In the process, the hallway was quickly become soaked, and then iced, as the attack broke over its victim heartless and froze them, shattering them a moment later.]

Good job! It looks like they are beginning to weaken.

[Saturn leapt back and gave one of the unfriendly little beasts a whack on the head. ]

Just a few more and they will be gone!

[Mars nods in response to Saturn's announcement and focuses her attention on the remaining heartless. With the combined strengths of the senshi, they should be able to do some damage on the heartless. She makes more of an attempt to coordinate her attacks with the other girls.

She lets loose a steady stream of flame upon the heartless.]

[Mercury carefully keeps her own attacks separate from Mars', to avoid allowing the fire and water to cancel each other out. It's easier to face the situation by focusing on the practical. Once it's over, she can turn, walk away, and leave.

In her current frame of mind, it still feels... good to let loose and let her powers go on some enemy, or more truthfully, it feels good in a way that battle doesn't normally bring out in her.]

[The heartless shivered and burst into nothingness. The combined attack of the senshi was just too much for them.

Sailor Saturn blinked and looked around the scene but that seemed to be the end of them. Suddenly she felt so much better like a heavy weight had just been pulled off of her chest. She was still confused about what had happened but it felt like there was a chance to make everything better again.]

Thank you senshi. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been there.
