[Hotaru removed the bow she had been wearing around her neck and she ran her hand over the spot. The bite mark was almost entirely gone now but she still felt like hiding the place it had been from everyone.
Why had that happened? What did it mean? Everything was still so confusing even weeks later.
Maybe that was why the heartless had been able to get so close to her without her realizing it. The creature slithered over the ground creeping ever nearer to the bed the young girl was sitting on. This wonderful sadness was something the heartless wanted for itself! ]

[Hotaru stared at the object he was holding out to her in a kind of awe. A golum? It looked useful and it was pretty cute too! ]

Just what is a golum? Does it need to eat?

It's mechanical so you don't have to worry about feeding it. It records video and sound and if you get lost you can just tell it to lead you wherever you need to and it will get you there.

[Well, it didn't sound easy to break. Only with that reassurance did she go ahead and take the object from Kanda's hand. ]

I wouldn't be giving it to you if I didn't want to. [The instant she touches it, the golum starts batting its wings. It's excited!]
