Because the guy was so quiet, it was hard to notice he was still there but sometime during the afternoon, Kanda came out, hair loose, shirtless, and with a blue duck in tow. He went straight for the fridge, the duckling looking over his leg at all the things inside.]

You want something? I guess I need to feed you at some point, just choose something.

[At his master's command, it crept towards the fridge raided the vegetables and then dragged out the gallon of juice. Kanda frowned.]

Hey, not the whole damned thing! You're going to drink that from a bowl like a normal-

[But the duck didn't seem to listen. There went the gallon of juice and Kanda just threw his hands up and started rummaging through the cupboards.]

Fine. Do whatever you want. Just don't tell Allen about this. [He found what he was looking for, a bottle of rum he took from Port Royal.] I'm not in the mood for anything today.
