❀ Eighth Illusion ❀ Kanda Yu : Video / Twilight Town
[Kanda hadn't gone to work in a few days, he really hadn't left his bedroom either. Because the guy was so quiet, it was hard to notice he was still there but sometime during the afternoon, Kanda came out, hair loose, shirtless, and with a blue duck in tow. He went straight for the fridge, the duckling looking over his leg at all the things inside.]
You want something? I guess I need to feed you at some point, just choose something.
[At his master's command, it crept towards the fridge raided the vegetables and then dragged out the gallon of juice. Kanda frowned.]
Hey, not the whole damned thing! You're going to drink that from a bowl like a normal-
[But the duck didn't seem to listen. There went the gallon of juice and Kanda just threw his hands up and started rummaging through the cupboards.]
Fine. Do whatever you want. Just don't tell Allen about this. [He found what he was looking for, a bottle of rum he took from Port Royal.] I'm not in the mood for anything today.

[Or, reversely, it could be a leak where darkness could come in. There were lots of possibilities, and all of them merited exploring.]
[audio]
[audio]
Of course. If it means we somehow get closer to the source of all this trouble, wouldn't it be the logical choice?
[audio]
[audio]
...I see.
[But she couldn't just remain idle like this. That's not how she worked.]
Then, what would you have me do?
[audio]
Look, if you want to go so badly, let me go with you. [He'll sleep better at night.]
[audio]
What? I couldn't--you surely must have better things to be doing...
[audio]
[audio]
I can't really say. [She won't pretend to even begin to understand you, Kanda.]
[audio]
Tch. Are we going together or not?
[audio]
[Wait.]
...though I haven't quite...figured out a place to go, yet. [It was simple musing, honestly.]
Re: [audio]

I don't think I expected you to be quite so spontaneous, Kanda-san.
[It's almost charming.]
[audio]
Is that a yes? Quit stalling.
[audio]
Wh-?! Yes! [Stalling?! But she wasn't--]
D-did you mean right now?
[audio]
[audio]
[They should be prepared, shouldn't they?]
[audio]
[Ami, be more spontaneous!]
[audio]
[She's really being a downer, isn't she?]
I mean...I suppose I technically haven't been to these places before, so it'd probably be wise to familiarize myself...
[audio]
Ami. Shut up. Pack your things and stop thinking. We're never going to leave if you keep talking.
[audio]
What should I be packing? [She didn't know anything about where they were going, after all.]
[audio]
[audio]
How many days do you think this will take? I should probably let the others know...
