[Two blue eyes framed with unruly blonde hair stare at the screen, before there's a mumbled, "Am I holding it too close" and it's pulled away to show Tidus smiling.]

So I'm having a little trouble processing everything that's been said about our worlds...and everything. I don't want to take everything that's been said to be true until I see it for myself. And I'm sure I'm not the only one here who wants to see their friends. Anyway, even if some worlds are gone, we somehow managed to escape, and maybe other people have too. I don't know how long they're going to be safe, and I don't want to put them at risk...

I'm taking names right now and I'll let you know everything later, okay? Sooooo how many others are interested?

Our friends might be on one of these other light planets, right? Maybe we should go check one of them. While we're flying we can see how these ships control, maybe figure out how close it is to riding a bike?

[Looks nice! Tidus is about to smirk, but her comment has him smiling and scratching the back of his head.] Heh... I run fast. Good to know!

They might be. It's as good a place to start as any. What's a bike?

That's what my thinking was, it works toward a few goals at once. *Sigh, slightly annoyed.* Nevermind, maybe we'll find one here and I can explain it.

[He solemns up a little.] Look Holly J., I'm sorry.

Sounds like a plan. [Shrugs, thinking she thinks he's an idiot now.] Works for me.

*She's not mad.* Just... don't go abandoning me on other worlds, okay?

We should ask around to figure out which worlds are safest to go visit... I can't exactly fight monsters. *She looks upset to admit to something she can't do. Also she doesn't think you're stupid, she thinks your world is stupid for not having bikes.*

I won't do that. I'll be with you until you find all your friends!

It's not something you wanna learn. We can start at the safer worlds.

*Holly J isn't good at sincere smiles, but here's one... its just a little awkward.*

I know a little bit of self defense... but it was more for staying in shape and maybe kicking a mugger in the shin.

How about this. It's lame, but I'm a pretty good cook. You protect me and I'll bring sandwiches?

[His smile warms up at that.]

I was pretty much the same way. I never thought I'd have to really fight.

Lame? I can't think of a better arrangement!

[Tidus thinks about what Ven said. It sounds like something he'd say to everyone else, for morale. That didn't mean he entirely believed it. He thought he did, yet...] Yeah, our bonds can be the difference between victory and defeat. But I prefer the real thing.

What's there to know? There have always been other worlds out there apart from the one you call home. Have you ever considered that every major event in your life could lead to creating an alternate reality wherein you chose to do something different?

Well, yeah, maybe. Sometimes in life you have thousands of choices, and sometimes only two. But the possibilities are endless just like the outcomes. Whatever happens, the reality is always different from the one you could have chosen. I don't see what this has to do with finding our home worlds and our friends?

And with this line of thinking, it could be possible that there is a universe where our home worlds and our friends escaped the destruction.

Well, understanding the whole "parallel universes" thing on the first explanation. Merits some form of praise at least.

Yuna... what's she like?

I'm kind of from one. Maybe.

She's this girl! [Tidus wins at descriptions.]

Well, if we're going to keep a look out for her, I'm afraid you're going to have to be a bit more specific than that. There are about a thousand other girls I can name off the top of my head, you know.

She's shorter than me. Her skin is kind of pale, but it looks nice because she has brown hair that's kind of a...golden-ish shade? And it goes to her shoulders and it's kind of swooshy. She has one green and one blue eye, and they're both really bright!

She has a nice smile. When she really smiles. It's different from the smile she makes for the sake of everyone else.

Her clothes are funny though. They look nice on her, but they're really modest and kind of bulky.

[ The way he was gushing reminded her of someone. If anything, she was waiting for the sparkles. ]

With all the detail you gave, I'm guessing she's someone important if you know her that intimately.

[He would sparkle if he could. He settles for the closest option, his eyes brighter than before.]

She's very important!

It's her who ought to be here.

Everything is inevitable, Tidus. No matter if you were brought here or if she was brought here, all this is inevitable. If you were to find her again in this place, that too is inevitable.

[ A very small smile. ]

Still. It never hurts to dream.

That's not true. Nothing is ever inevitable. If it's your story, then what happens is always up to you.

[Can has Riku just... starring.. because wow; Sora told him that there was some sort of older Tidus around; but... yeah, seeing it himself is yet a totally different thing. (He still isn't quite certain if there is everything kosher with this... but time will tell, right?)]

[Tidus knows that stare all too well. It reminded him of the stare he received when doing something stupid, even though it's different.]

How do you know me? Is there some third other-me running around?

[Believe him, that stare looks different... though who knows, Tidus might find himself subject to it sooner or later anyway. For now Riku will just shake his head in amusement.]

[Knowing Tidus, it's possible. He pauses, almost as if he's afraid to ask. He scratches the back of his head.]

Age aside; you might as well be his twin.

How long haven't I known him, would probably be the better question. We are childhood friends.
