[The feed blips on and he's...seated. Quietly. In a hotel room by the looks of it. All by himself. A rather strangely ordinary scene, given the bustle of the town outside the window around him and he seems so out of place among all these strangers with his finely cut millionaire's suit and his silvery, perfectly aligned hair…He's a bit dazed, from the look on his face. His hair falls just so to cover the left side of it as he regards the screen calmly. Almost too calmly for someone who's just been brought here.]

I've been told this is what they call "Traverse Town".

Am I dreaming?…At least, this might be a dream, as I don't remember…[Am I dead?] "Traverse Town" is it…? Where is such a place as that? I cannot even recall how it is I came to be here. Are you certain someone's not pulling a cruel prank on me? I assure you I won't take kindly to being toyed with. Surely I cannot have done this myself by mistake. As much as I appreciate a good joke, this isn't a laughing matter.

[Slight exhaustion reflects in his words, though he keeps his gaze slightly off from the small communicator. There's a serious urgency to what he says as well. In fact, he was nothing but dreadfully confused. He knew nothing of inter-dimensional travel so how was he to know where he was? Not that he'd completely poo poo the idea,—indeed, he's far from unfamiliar with the supernatural—but…How could he be anything but dead? Perhaps the strain on his mind after his defeat by Yugi had been far too great…And yet, despite the approach from the strange creature with the red bobble on its head and its insistence on giving him a tour, he wasn't sure anymore. Maybe this was a dream. That at least would be simpler than the reality of the matter. Cyndia…His thoughts instantly turned to her, and to Duelist Kingdom. What had become of it all? Was this his Judgment? His Punishment for what had transpired? Or was it something else entirely?]

Maybe someone will care to direct me…? I'm afraid this is all very confusing. I am willing to negotiate, should that be necessary.

[He frowned, opening the door a little further and then beckoning the guy to sit on the bed. He pulled out a potion bottle. Two actually.]

They taste a little funny but they'll hit the spot.

I don't know if I should take that as an insult or a compliment, really.

[A faint chuckle though there was a cold sweat already on his brow, his skin pale and wane. He isn't entirely sure about any of this but he supposes there were worse decisions to be made in a situation like this.

Nevertheless he'll slide to be seated, eying the potions a little wearily before flicking his gaze back to Dante.]

Don't get me wrong, you're probably pretty good lookin' but whatever you went through left you looking terrible.

[His cheeks burn a little despite himself at that...somewhat unexpectedly forward statement, and he shifts uncomfortably on the bed. His mouth then quirks into a quiet simper. Pegasus can't deny any of that, really. He probably didn't look...well at that moment. At all. Self-consciously he'll touch at his hair now for a moment before lifting his hand and gently extending it out to receive one of the potions.]

I suppose it must have...

[Pegasus murmured softly. He's at least certain that Dante meant well, so he'll go on his word for the moment that this would help.]

How much of it am I supposed to drink..?

[Dante wasn't really sure why the guy was blushing but he shrugged it off. He took the chair from the desk and sat in it, straddling it's back-rest.]

When in doubt, I figure drinking the whole thing will do. I mean, after all, there's no such thing as being 'too healthy', right?

[Not used to being complimented, even in passing, Mister Dante. Or perhaps it was more the whole...being "forward" thing. Mainly insulted, actually. From his hair to his way of dressing, someone always had to make a snarky comment. The fact that Dante hadn't...Well, that was cause to be a bit embarrassed, actually.]

[He'll uncork the potion, tip his head back, and drain the contents in one swallow, not pausing to taste it. Medicine, if it was good for you, never tasted good anyways. The color does seem to go back into his ashen face after several minutes and he blinks, as if seeing for the first time.

It was the most strange sensation...Warm and light and gentle. An indescribable feeling as his pain seemed to melt away.]

[Dante noticed the change and he grinned. Mission accomplished! His good Samaritan deed has been done!]

Glad to see you're feeling better!

[He felt not so full of despair and sorrow. In fact, it was warming his insides in such a way color spilled into his cheeks. And he sighed, relieved. The pain was gone...Completely gone. What a miraculous thing, this potion!]

I've...never had a potion like this before, I confess. I am in your debt.

No problem. Brought you an extra one if you woke up feeling pain in the morning.

You've been extremely kind...

[Because Pegasus isn't into charity, exactly.]

Is there anything I might do in return?

Don't say that when we're in a room by ourselves. Makes me feel nasty. Consider it some good fortune.

I simply meant that...I was grateful. That I wished to return the favor one day.

[Sulks at that, his cheeks puffing slightly.]

[He can't help but be honest? He's starting to get the vibes off of this one and he freezes.]
