[ oh, hadn't this been expertly timed. masane's arrival just so happened to coincide with the noxious mist that had been plaguing the worlds for the past week or so. not that she had been any sort of aware of this, ...at least not until she'd been spat out into traverse town. ]

[ but she'd not even gotten a moment to get her bearings when the jewel on her wrist started to glow. it erupted in a brilliant crimson burst and, to protect its host, transformed her into the witchblade. it wasn't all that hard to tell that the mist was dangerous and, as such, it wouldn't do her any good to succumb to its detrimental effects. she didn't know what they were and, truthfully, she didn't need to know. she just had to keep herself relatively safe until she could make some sense of this... ]

[ as eyes of amber scanned the haze ridden horizon masane could not help but to purr in absolute delight. ] I can feel it, ooh. [ a shudder. ] So much power lies in this world. [ a metal clink! followed each and every step she took as she moved throughout town. there's not a soul in sight and yet, still, she can feel several people and creatures nearby. ]

...this isn't any fun, [ the sensations proliferating from not only the mist, but also those around her is absolutely maddening and it must be dampened. it must be stopped. it must be destroyed. ] come on out and play. [ and with a subtle tonal incline she's leaping atop a nearby roof and disappearing into the mist with a bubbly chuckle. ]

( ooc | since the mist is still out and about i thought i would throw masane out there. i plan on making the original intro post i had made up later on, after the event's concluded. feel free to assume that she's one of the things that's been going bump in the night. )

...and I'm a big girl, so I get to stay out and play too. [ going to turn her back on him. ] It didn't, if you've noticed, ...and hardly as dangerous as you're trying to make it.

Keep walkin' around half dressed and we'll see who's in trouble.

Is that a threat ...? [ because there's nobody out here. she's been walking around for hours and she's only come across a few people, most having thought she, herself, was a heartless. ]

More like a warning. You realize there's these things called heartless that like to jump out at you. They're easy to kill but they can overwhelm you when you don't know about them.

But there's not been a single one out. [ smiles. ] But I do appreciate your concern, Big Boy. [ flicks her tongue at him. ] But a few people have already informed me about the creatures, ...and don't you find it strange that they're not out and about?

[He could answer that, but no point in telling people he doesn't know himself that they're not very friendly with him.]

Wouldn't know a thing about that. Maybe they just don't know how to handle all that woman.

[ lifts a brow. she's not so sure believes him, but what reason does he have to lie... ~~well there are plenty, actually, but that's beside the point.~~ ] ...all this woman?

[ and the blade will look down at herself. a smirk splits her face as she saunters forward. normally, she'd be both aggravated and embarrassed, but while in this particular form she was a bit more open to this sort of language and behavior. she set a hand on his chest as she leans in close. ] oh, So they look real, well, ...tell me how they feel, Big Boy.

Is that a trick question? [Normally, woman that offered themselves so easily never really had good intentions so as always he was skeptical. He couldn't help but stare.] If I grab them, are you going to stab me or will I be able to get away with my hands still attached with my body.

...good looking and intelligent. [ as she steps back her smirk broadens. yeah. you nailed it right on the head. she'd have stabbed you had you tried. ]

What can I say, you're not the first woman to tell those exact words. [He's still disappointed.] You can touch mine if I can touch yours, isn't that fair?

...a real Lady Killer, huh? [ turns away from him and chuckles. ] I'm sorry to disappoint, but it's not going to be that easy.

Does that mean I still have a chance?

[ just looks back at him and smiles. ]

I am going to find the one responsible for this. [ makes a subtle gesture with her hand to the mist around them. ] ...and you're nothing more than a distraction,[ stops and glances over her shoulder. ] a handsome distraction. [ a small bubble of laughter escapes her as she leaps to the next building. ]

I'll agree with you there. [He's following her, who wouldn't?] I am pretty handsome. I don't think you'll find the person responsible for the mist.

[ moves from roof to roof. she's through wasting time. ] Let's not be modest now. [ snickers and all but skids to a halt. her playful tone melts away and she throws him another glance. ] No? ...then where are they?

[He hops after her until she surprises him by a sudden halt. This isn't the first time something like this happens. Unfortunately, every time it does happen we don't get any closer to figuring out who or what is behind it.

I was told that it might be someone by the name of Malificent. [ as she lifts her arm up the blade shoots out. looks at it fondly before drawing it closer to her lips and dragging her tongue along the length of it. ] I want to run her through with this... [ peers up at him from behind the blade and smiles. ] ...and taste what power she holds.

So they say but no one can get to her. We don't exactly know where she is. [Please don't lick that. That's hot.] I wish I could see you do it.

Pity. I would have loved to do it. [ is it? don't let her know you think so. ] I could have made it quite the show...
