[ Video / Traverse Town Action]
[Leonardo stood on the precipice of the clock tower in Traverse Town, the highest point in the city. He was bent over a wonderful new invention... well, to him it was new, it was called a telescope! The painter looked from the machine to his notes to jot down an observation in a messy backwards Italian mirrored script. ]
[(The worlds are not fixed.)]
[Then he looked back to the stars he was gazing at through his new toy... or at least he would have if the moogle standing behind him hadn‘t picked that moment to pitch a bit of a, “how much longer is this going to be, kupo!” tantrum.]
Si, si, nearly done. Just a final world...
[Leonardo returned to his note to expertly jot in the final piece, just a quick sketch of the one world that was missing from this commission. ]
And, there! Tutto fatto!
[(All done!)]
You might want to be careful with it my friend, the ink will still be wet.
[The warning doesn’t stop the moogle from wandering over and shining it’s camera down on the commission he paid for. A map of the worlds of Star Kingdom. Just what he wanted!

And sadly somewhere, in a Traverse Town house... Dante‘s poor home would be littered with sketches and notes outlining the progression of this piece. Leonardo was not the most tidy or organized person around. It could be weeks before the poor kitchen table could be found again. This is what can happen with a disordered houseguest around.]
Is the machine still on? [The moggle nods.] There is something I should ask while it is.
I am currently looking for commissions. If you need a sculpture or a painting done I would be at your service. I also have some experience with machinations for moving water, war machines, and theatrical equipment... though I am told that expertise might be a bit dated. Oh! If you would like a copy of the map? It might come in handy for your journeys?

Capisco. What would those conditions be, Messer?
[(I understand.) ]
Video - Private
Just that you never mention that I'm funding your work. I would also like to see the finished projects but beyond that.. I have no other conditions.
[He's not even asking for you to send anything to him.]
Use the funds as you will for any project you see fit.

A silent patron?
[Should he ask? He kind of has to, doesn't he? ]
But, Messer why would you be willing to do this?
[There must be something in it for you? Why the secrecy?
His concern is you might be one of the number Ezio was... well, maybe not but he still felt the need to check.]
Not that I am not grateful for the offer, I would gladly accept it, but you must be getting something out of it? Are you an art lover, Messer?
Video - Private
That is what I would prefer.
[Leonardo was naturally curious..]
I do have an interest in the arts in a variety of fields. [Let's just go with that.] Plus I believe these worlds could benefit from your contributions.
[There were several reasons for not making it public knowledge. 1. He neither wanted nor needed the publicity that he might receive because of the association, 2. He just wanted to sate his own curiosity as to what Leonardo could come up, and 3. He didn't want anyone else approaching him for funding]
I will be getting something out of it. The pleasure of seeing the finished works. [That's enough. Right?]
Video - Private
[He bows politely for the recording machine to show this gratitude. ]
If that is what pleases you then I can keep your contribution a secret.
[I can see Ezio being a bit nervous about this but Leonardo goes along with it easily enough. ^^]
Would you like the first look at the pieces once I have completed them?
