[A little boy with spunky hair and wide blue eyes is suddenly staring into the feed with a pouting face; he looks like he's been crying, actually. You might not recognize him without the trademark tribal tattoo on the side of his face. Until he opens, his mouth, that is.]

MAAAAATRON! Where are you?! They... they said I could find you if I used this thing!

[He leans in really close, almost bonking his forehead on the screen.] Are you in there?! Come ou~t! The people here are weird and I don't like it...! OH! And I saw someone start a fire even though they're NOT S'POSED TO! You're gonna put 'em in the corner, right, Matron? RIGHT?! I did good, huh?!

[...Except when he doesn't get an answer after a few moments of wait, his eyes started welling up with tears and he begins to wibble.]

This thing is STUPID! It doesn't work at all!

[Tidus waits, entertaining himself by searching around to see if there's anything to his interest. After a while he crosses his arms, doing his best to look tough and intimidating.]

Ready to lose?!

[Tidus scoffs and smirks, hands on hips.] I'm ready to watch you lose!

[Leon wanders in and takes a look at both boys once Zell gets there.]

I'm going to take you both outside so you two can settle this. After that, you're both confined to your rooms the rest of the day, not even allowed to talk to each other because I'm confiscating your PCD's.

Tchyeah RIGHT!

You're not Matron! You can't boss me around!

[Tidus smirks at Zell and is about to shrug retort--it's just outside--but Leon's next words render him momentarily speechless. Opening and closing his mouth a few times, he shakes his head and raises himself up to his full height to try and get his point across.]

You can't do that! I wasn't doing anything wrong! Why are you punishing me when he's the one being a big crybaby?!

[ Hearing the commotion, in wanders Rinoa somewhere lurking behind Leon. She frowns and places her hands on her hips. She disapproved. So much. Why was she stuck with a bunch of boys? She wouldn't say anything, however. Just watch. ]

[With both of the boys being a pain in the ass, Squall grabbed the back of their shirts. It was when he turned around that he saw Rinoa standing there and at first he was convinced she was going to yell. But he still acted nonchalant.]

The boys are going to go outside and settle this like men, and then be bored since they can't talk to each other after. We'll hopefully have a quiet night after that.

[And then dragged both of the boys unceremoniously outside.]

[Leaning against the door frame.]

They're kids, I doubt they even know what being a man is.

Lemme go! LEMME GO! I CAN BE A MAN! I'm strong! Matron says so!

[Zell wasn't the only one making a huge fuss. Tidus yelped and squirmed, trying to grab Leon's arm to get him to let go. When he saw Rinoa, he decided to try a different tactic and made his expression as innocent as was possible for him.]

Lady! This guy is punishing me when I didn't do anything wrong! You should punish him.

[His already short attention span is fleeting however, and distracted by the man by the door. He smirks, doing his best to appear calm and collected.]

I know what a man is. Being a man is having a sword, being tough and strong! The exact opposite of the crybaby with the stupid hair...is he your little brother? Because you both have stupid hair!

[ Just ... shakes her head. Besides, she's not going to punish anybody at the moment. Not unless she had to. But Tidus' statement did put her in motherly mode. ]

Not everything has to be resolved through violence, you know. Just have them apologize to each other and leave it at that! I don't want anyone getting hurt!

[ But anything said was probably left unheard since Leon was already trudging to the door with both children in tow. ]

[He shrugged at the blonde by the door.]

They'll learn, we did.

[With the fighter's outburst, Leon just sighs and grabs tighter to Zell's shirt. Crazy kid wasn't getting out of going to beat Tidus up. It was all about getting the kids to exhaust themselves and not brawl in the house where he would have to fix whatever they broke.

But Tidus got an even tighter cinch for making fun of Cloud's hair even though Leon actually thought 'stupid hair' was funny and mentally saved it as a childish taunt later when picking on the blonde swordsman when they dueled. It would be said with lots of snickers and laughter.

And to Rinoa he shook his head.]

I'll have to fix whatever they break, and I want peace and quiet, so both of their asses are going outside for exhaustion. They're little, they won't get hurt too bad. You'd have more reason to worry if they were back to being grown. And I don't want anyone interfering unless they're really hurt which I doubt will happen.

[Once outside, Leon collected their PCD's and pocketed them. Then he shoved both of the kids down onto the ground and folded his arms across his chest.]

Now both of you get this settled.

[Cloud's brow rose slightly at the taunt and wondered if he and Leon had exchanged ridiculous retorts like that when they were that age and hated each other. He shrugged and stepped aside when Leon walked with determination outside while explaining everything, though he was careful to quickly grab his sword so none of the kids could accidentally grab a hold of it.

Not that they could lift it up. Still.]

Leon's right, Rinoa. They're just gonna roll around and throw wild punches at most. Better to just let them get it out of their system now till this whole fiasco is over.

[Tidus stood from the ground, not bothering to brush himself off. If he was going to have a boring night, he'd drag this fight out for as long as possible. At least that would be fun. He was about to turn to Zell when he saw the boy...running away.]

Hey, you big coward! Don't run away!

[Scoffing, he crossed his arms. If he ran after Zell and caught him, Leon would be really proud of him. The man's admiration was reason enough, but he hoped maybe he would even be so impressed, he'd take away his punishment! Plus, it seemed like the right thing to do, so Tidus quickly sprinted after Zell, his own speed helping him cover some of the distance from Zell's head start.]

[ Rinoa truly had nothing else to say at this point. Cloud and Leon were in agreement about the boys roughhousing to get it out of their system. She could only assume that maybe it was a guy thing. Or boy thing. Or something. Whatever it was it didn't seem to be working. Wandering over to the doorway to see how things turned out, she snorted back a chuckle at watching Leon get rammed by Zell and run, then watched as Tidus sprinted after him. ]

Great plan.

[ Amused, she turned and wandered back inside. ]
