What?!? No! My world can't be gone! You're lying!

[Of course the moogle is quick to protest.]

I'm not lying, kupo! It's the truth! You--

[The little girl stamps her foot, even as tears begin to form.]

Stop it! That doesn't make any sense! I told you, I don't have time for this! We have to go and rescue Rosa!

But--

[The video feed grows unsteady as she runs down the street. Once she's far enough away, the little girl plops down to catch her breath...and curls in on herself, sniffling.]

Well... we have to draw it from a source but we only get so much at a time and once we use up what we have stored in our Guardian Forces -- they protect us -- then we have to go and find more.

It's a little more complicated than that but I think that's a pretty simple way of making sense of it. How do you learn magic where you're from Rydia?

Well...we practice a lot, but we don't have to draw it from anything. The magic comes from inside of us. I never hear of drawing magic from places before. What kind of places?
