[For those who don't know, Agrabah is a very hot place. Makoto doesn't really mind it, but it can get a little exhausting. When the feed starts she's fanning herself in some much-needed shade.]

Hey everyone! Are you all holding up okay? I heard we got a lot of new arrivals recently, so I thought I'd say hi. And, if anyone needs anything, feel free to ask.

My friends and I look after Agrabah. It gets pretty hot, but if you can stand the sun and the sand, it's not so bad. If anyone wants to visit, let me know! I'm always happy to have a house guest.

My name's Kino Makoto. You can all call me Mako, though. Don't be a stranger!

[Because that means she'll have a reason to clean instead of doing homework, and that she can cook instead of study. It's the perfect plan.]

So since most of us are here, do you guys want to do anything? There are a lot of worlds we haven't seen yet, and it might be a good idea to familiarize ourselves with our surroundings. Plus, it'd be great to get away from this heat.

That's just it, Mako-chan. He's not. He's here.

[Ami will be ignoring that blush in favor of serious business. For now. Until they get a better sense of Nephrite's intentions.]

Yeah, I know. He says he doesn't remember anything. I think... he's telling the truth.

I'm working together with him. [She lets the shock of that sink in for just a moment.] We went star-watching and discovered that some constellations from our world seem to be visible in Traverse Town, but surrounded by unfamiliar ones he didn't know.

If that's happening, if stars are brought here when our worlds are affected, other parts of our world could be, too.

You're working with him? Ami-chan... Don't tell me you met with him alone!

He wasn't always our enemy, and he doesn't have to be. But, to be safer, I spoke to him in this form.

[Unstated: She'd gone alone.]

I know. But if he doesn't remember his past, he can't be trusted. We can't risk it. I won't let him hurt any of us.

I agree. But right now, he seems uncertain. I think it's better to show him our intentions are good.

Mako-chan? [She worries at first that she's disappointed Makoto.]

I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner. It was unexpected. I met him at the tower by chance.

I thought getting our world back was all we'd have to deal with. This is just... too much.

[She doesn't mean to make it harder, but she asks the obvious question nonetheless.]

Is it because it's him?

[If Zoisite came here, could she be calm and rational, the way she'd have to be? She'd be scared and hopeful all at once.]

Ami-chan--

Mako-chan... [She'd like to comfort her, but the truth is she's not entirely sure how.]

Our worlds and timelines are different. But we knew that back home, too. We knew they were the spirits guarding Mamoru-san. I think he'll come to understand our intentions here, too.

...It was easier when he was our enemy. I don't mind fighting him, but I don't like not knowing what to do about him. Even when he was just a rock protecting Mamoru-san... He was gone and that was that. But what am I supposed to do about him now?

We keep him away from Usagi-chan until we can find out more and learn more about the situation.

Well I've never been great at gathering intel, so...

I don't think he intends anything bad right now. But I don't think he's sure of what he wants to do himself, yet. We should stay careful.

I don't plan on making friends any time soon. When he turns on us, I'll be ready.

Mako-chan.... I don't think we can start from mistrust. We've already seen they can be healed. I think we'll make things worse if the suspicion starts from our side this time.

But Mamoru-san isn't here, and they don't-- They don't care about us anyway. Why can't Motoki-san show up instead! At least he's nice to us.

[A small, soft sigh.]

It's true it feels as though things are becoming complicated. But Mako-chan, they deserve the chance to live, just like anyone else. And I don't think it has to be a trade-off. Hopefully Motoki-san will arrive here, too.

I didn't say he couldn't live... I just don't plan on trusting him until he proves he's worthy.

It'd be great if he came and opened up Crown somewhere. We need a place to hang out together!

It would really be useful if we had the Command Center here. We could probably learn a lot about these worlds, more quickly.
