Did you have a good New Year's dream? I thought about the custom of New Year's resolutions. I thought about making a few for myself, and working to accomplish them.

I still will, but I thought it might be more important to make some resolutions together. To talk about what we want to change and improve in the worlds here. Of course, being able to revive our worlds and return home is the priority, but we can't ignore where we are, either.

I know what resolutions are, but I don't understand why you would make them one day a year?

We shouldn't, really; we should always be open to improving ourselves. I suppose it's just easier to think about when we're already thinking about new starts.

You could say that, but.. it seems like a negative attitude, doesn't it? As long as we work our hardest to get home, I don't think we should chastise ourselves for not being able to yet. And being here... If our homes are really gone until we can revive them, being here is a blessing after all.

The best way to improve the worlds? Finding a way to wipe out the Heartless for good.

[Like that will happen, though...] Short of that, every world should be protected as much as they can be.

I don't know if that can be done right away, [Or could it, now that they're learning about the keyblades?] but we can still fight as much as possible. [It's agreement, really.]

I just think there may be more we can do, too. Libraries, hospitals, schools, all of those should receive our resources, too.

What resources? It's a good idea, but not many of us are in a position to help, considering we all show up here with nothing.

That's not true. We each show up here with our strengths. With the things we know that we can teach to others. With our minds. With strong bodies. With powers from our worlds. There are a lot of things we can bring right away.

And even after that, as we learn to find our way while we're here, we become more and more able to contribute.

At least, I hope that's the case.

I learned something about the weapon that can defeat the Heartless. It's here. More precisely, several exist.

[Right. Getting down to business is much more comfortable, and Mercury squares her shoulders.]

I only know one person who certainly has one. They can be used to truly defeat the Heartless - to send them back to the Darkness. They're wielded by masters who were meant to protect the worlds, like we protected ours.

However, because of their power, it's also a great danger if one of them is brought into the Darkness. For that reason, they're so cautious.
